Description
So loves Sir Lock of Smith, the dragon parody of Sherlock Holmes who appears in one episode ; I don't partculary really like him, but this love from my friend for him actually gave me inspiration to make a parody of who we usually ship Sherlock With, Irène Adler. So I thought maybe swapping the first letters, Arène Idler... No... But Then I thought "Arena", a last name here in Corsica, could be her first name. But as a I did more than just swapped letters for the name, I'd have to do the same for the surname... So I remember Eric Idle (Monty Python, hehe we're talking of BD after all, by Terry Jones !), and now she is Arena Idle. And I made her a vixen because 1) anthro animals do exist in the BD universe 2) foxes are cunning and she is supposed to be very cunning and smart 3) for some reason I really wanted to make a fox character in this universe ok ? Don't judge. It was fun to design a fox in the style of the show as the only 2 canids we see in the show are non-anthro doggies, a poodle and a chihuahua, so I had to take inspiration and take liberties.
But as loves Sir Lock, I thought he would actually love the concept. But he and I have different headcanon continuities for the fandom. So... I made 2 Arenas, one for each, the "same" character with a different look and a different personality, a classy femme fatale, and an excited punk, and showed the sketch to him, who he wanted to choose. He chose the punk, so I have the femme fatale left. I then colored, following the colors he wanted for his, and as for mine I thought glitters would be great to make her medieval dress more chanteuse-like, and I tried to make her fur the most (I couldn't for the snout fur, it looked off) looking like LRDR's foxes' as, reminder, I headcanon BD and LRDR happen in the same universe.
So my Arena Idle is a femme fatale... joke. She has the looks, brains and ambitions, but she actually is INCREDIBLY unlucky at her job. Whenever she seduces a guy to try to get things from him, either he's innocent and doesn't get she's flirting, or he's gay, or he's already in love and is the faithful type, or he's dear to his duties and refuses to give in, or he just finds after her a girl even more beautiful and leaves her there, or he is immediatly called for an emergency, etc. She learned to be very exasperated but patient, and she would just have a drink, frustrated for all the remaining of the night. Really, the only one she can seduce is Sir Lock of Smith, but it might not count as he does love her ; and even him lets himself seduced at the moment but once she's gone he suspects something is wrong. The 2 met on several plans she always fails as he is smart and she is unlucky (DESPITE HER LOOKS A RECURRING GAG WOULD BE HER BEING THE VICTIM OF BAD LUCK SLAPSTICK and then try (TRY) to just dust off herself and keep walking straight ; if it can happen to cartoon males why not cartoon females), but she always manage to escape as she is smart too and has charms, he fell for her intelligence (important for a Sherlock dragon) and her beauty, and she actually fell for the fact he was her major rival (how exciting !) and she quite thinks he has charisma, everybody has different tastes. Are the 2 together ? Yes and no. They do not officially date and are rivals as he's a detective and she a thief and she ahs to run away from him, but they do know their feelings for each other, there are times they do have to team up, and they did save each other, did kiss each other more than once and did more things late at night in bed more than one time. Maybe at some point she would come to Camelhot to try to steal some royal crown or jewel just when Sir Lock comes back to try to be well seen by the royal couple again, and o coincidence.
Now, told me about his Arena, she actually works in the casino Sir Loungelot often goes, and he has a crush on her, so she uses that to her advantage and does plan to steal some stuff in Camelhot. She is an often excited and very cartoony type of villain, who tries to be classy but would fail (like flipping cards out of thin air... then dropping them "FUCK NO"), but she is very competent and succeeded all her plans... except when comfronted to Sir Lock. He's the only one who can defeat her, which made her fall in love with him (a rival as competent as her, how exciting !), but she still tries to hide and to repress her fangirling when she sees him, to the point she tries to run away from him (reason she came to Camelhot... oh the irony as he would come there to gain the trust of the royal couple again !), himself fell for her (so intelligent and the only criminal able to run away from him... still he doesn't care about her looks, he is only a brain fetishist lmao) but is still trying to catch her.

i prefer the design on the right... but only because i'm rather a pants person xD i mean, dresses are nice to look at... but wearing one? dear god, no! xD anyway, of course the dress design does also look good...so sparkly *.*

Thank you ! To be fair I admit I loved the one on the right more, but as I got the one on the left, I compensated by giving her a personality and a source of gags I actually love, so worth it XD I do prefer wearing pants, but in summer dresses are good to me Also thank you ! I feared if I left it blank something would be missing... Then I remembered the Chanteuse trope, like Jessica Rabbit and co, so I thought glitters on a medieval-like dress would be actually fitting ehr character more

it's been about 20 years since i've last put on a dress xD and yesh, glitter on a dress is always a good idea! well, depending on the character and the situation maybe... because you probably wouldn't wear a glitter dress at a funeral xD okay, enough of that this one looks fancy, and i think it suits her very well ^^ can't beat the outfit on the right, though... i have a thing for black and white clothes and stuff... especially stripes or crazy patterns... i think it looks...jester-like... ((and hell, i like jesters xD))

Only wore a flittery one at 7 (not sexy FORTUNATELY XD)
Yep, doing it a bit jester-like was my attempt ! She is very agile and flexible, like jesters were ! The colors were requested by he had a good idea !
