A major difference in the Natives AU is how SkekVar doesn’t kiss the ground the Emperor walked on. He used to, actually. This was until finding out SkekZok, his childhood friend, had been in love with him for trines. His friend who had always been there his own way. SkekVar being quite simple, his brain anf heart did a FULL 180° turn and from that moment didn’t give a shit about the Emperor anymore and started to worship SkekZok instead. They became mates and had 3 children, the eldest SkekLong not being Var’s since Zok was already pregnant from a fling but the General always knew and didn’t care, he adopted him as his and raised him with love. His baby. So when said baby not only ended up dating someone but not jist anyone but one of HIS guards, SkekFih, SkekVar and SkekZok were CROSS. A PUNNY GUARD LAY HIS DIRTY HANDS ON HIS SON ? But too late, SkekLong had planned it all and they had already mated off. Now SkekFih was their son-in-law. Oh sure, in order to give more famiiy stability SkekVar gave him a raise, SkekFih the Captain of the Guards, but that did not mean he liked him. Not at all. In fact he was harsher on him just because, drill military style. And SkekFih feared him ever since he had dashed on him ready to stab him when the relarionship had been revealed trines ago. But he has also been desperate since then to be in his and SkekZok’s good graces, outdoing his best to impress them notably when he will do a remarkable spy job at Mayrin’s court as part of SkekSo’s will to start a war on Gelfling. He succeeded his mission beautifully. But SkekVar ? Never enough. Now do 140 pushups !
