“Sick em’ boys.” You hear Lilith say and then the screaming starts. “Wake up!” You hear Sam say and you open your eyes to see Sam looking down at you with worry on his face. “______, It’s okay it was just a dream.” You feel tears fill your eyes and you wrap your arms around him. Sam holds you tightly to his body as you cry. “Did you have the dream again?” He asks and you nod. “I can’t get it out of my head.” He gently caresses your hair as he says, “I know, I can’t either.” You and Sam had done everything to save Dean only to be outsmarted by Lilith. She had pinned you and Sam up against the wall and made you watch as the hell hounds ripped him apart. It had been a few months since then and every night since then you had nightmares about it.

“______?” He says as he slowly pulls away from you. “Yes?” You say as you look up into his chocolaty green eyes. He clenches his jaw as he says, “I’m going to leave, tomorrow.” Your eyes widen as you say, “What? Why?” He looks down at your hands wrapped in his and says, “I have to find some way to bring Dean back.” You pull away from him and standing up say, “So you’re leaving me?” He clenches his jaw as he says, “This was never gonna work out,” You stumble backwards as you say, “What was I then, Just a game to you?” He looks away and you bite the inside of your mouth as the tears stop pouring from your eyes. “Fine, don’t ever think about coming back to me.” You say and pray that he would argue or show some kind of resentment but his face remained unreadable. You walk over and quickly putting your clothes on walk out of the motel room the two of you were using and quickly called your uncle, Bobby Singer.

“Yeah?” Bobby says as he answers the phone. “I’m coming home.” “You okay?” He says sensing the sadness in your voice. “No, I’ll be home in a few hours.” Before he can reply you hang up the phone and walking back into the motel room quickly pack your bags. You don’t even glance at Sam as you grab your bags and walk out the door slamming it behind you. After a trip to the bus station and a long bus ride you found yourself staring at the house you grew up in after your parents died. As you walk toward the house you see your uncle standing on the front porch waiting for you. “Hey bobby,” You say as you force a smile. “Hey ________,” He replies and you smile, you had missed you uncle. He had been pretty hurt by Dean’s death but he had kept it together. “How about a drink?” He asks as he takes your bag from you. “Just like old times,” You say and he smirks at you.

You fell back into your old regime helping out in cases and doing research when help was needed. Almost a year after Dean’s death you heard a knock on the door and open it to see Dean staring back at you. “Hey half-pint,” He says and you are about to hug him but are pulled back by Bobby as he tosses holy water on him. “Bobby?!” You yell out as you turn back to your uncle. Bobby quickly makes Dean do all these tests and after he passes them all you and bobby wraps your arms around him. When you pull away Dean turns to you and says, “Where’s Sammy?” You smile fades as you say, “Don’t know, and don’t care.” You turn and start to walk away from him when Bobby grabs your arm and pulls you back. “Stop being a brat.” You jerk your arm out of his grasp and say a little louder than anticipated, “I’m not doing this Bobby! I’m not, and you can’t make me!”

“Why am I coming again?” You say as you lean forward in the car asking Dean. “Because, if he’s gonna listen to anyone it’s gonna be you.” “Pfft, yeah right.” You say as you throw yourself back against the seat. “What did he do that’s got you pissed at the world?” Dean asks and you quickly tell him about you falling out with Sam and he raises an eyebrow. “I didn’t expect that to happen.” “Yeah, well it did!” You fold your arms over your chest and turn to look out the window. “I don’t understand, Sam’s in love with you.” You chuckle as you reply, “Oh yeah? He’s got a funny way of showing it.” “I guess I’m gonna have to have a talk with him.” “Don’t bother, I don’t want him back.” You say as you reach into your bag and pull out your iPod and placing the headphones in your ears close your eyes.

You listen to your headphones the rest of the ride to Pontiac, Illinois. “What hotel is he at again?” Bobby asks and Dean replies, “Room 207 in the Astoria Hotel.” You find your nerves starting to get the better of you. “Guys, do I really have to be here?” You ask as you place your iPod back into your bag. “Yeah,” Dean says without looking back at you. You nod and wait patiently as the three of you make your way to the motel.

“I’m gonna wait in the car,” you say as you turn away from them and start to make your way back down the hallway only to have Dean grab the back of your shirt and push you in front of him. “Fine!” you say as you continue walking forward. You reach room 207 and you let out a sigh as you move out of the way so Dean can knock on the door. When it opens you see a half-naked girl with brown hair standing in the doorway. “So where is it?” She says and you all look at each other as Dean says, “Where’s what?” “The pizza, that it takes two guys to deliver?” She says rolling her eyes. “We seem to have the wrong room.” You say and start to walk away when you hear a familiar voice say, “Hey is,” You turn back to see Sam walking out of the bathroom.

Your heart clenches as you watch him look back and forth between you, Bobby, and Dean. “Hey ya Sammy,” Dean says as he slowly walks into the room only to be thrown back against the wall as Sam pulls out a knife. “Sam Stop!” You yell out as you jump in between them and Bobby restrains Sam. “Who are you?!” Sam yells out as he stares at Bobby. “Oh like you didn’t do this?!” Dean yells back at him. “Do what?!” “It’s him Sam. I’ve been through this already, it’s really him!” Bobby says and Sam starts to calm down. “I know,” Dean starts as he walks around you, “I look fantastic.” You watch as Sam wraps his arms around Dean and hugs him tight. “So are you two like together?” The dark haired girl asks and you feel your anger start to rise. “What, no, no, he’s my brother.” Sam says not taking his eyes off Dean. “Oh, that’s good I guess. I should probably go.” “Yeah that’s a bright idea.”

You stand back against the wall as she gathers her things and leaves. “So tell me what’d it cost?” Dean says and you raise an eyebrow. “What the girl? You know I don’t pay.” You roll your eyes and wish to be anywhere but there. “That’s not funny Sam, to bring me back. What’d it cost? Was it just your soul or was it worse?” “You think I made a deal?” Sam asks as he looks over at you. “That’s what we all think.” Bobby says and Sam turns toward him. “Well I didn’t.” “Don’t lie to me.” Dean says and you can sense the anger in his voice. “I’m not lying,” Sam says and you motion to Bobby that you were gonna wait outside and he nods.

“Wait!” You hear Dean say and you freeze. “Sammy, I want to know what the hell happened between you two and I wanna know now!” You swallow a breath of air as you slowly turn back to face them. You look over to see Sam not meeting your eyes and your heart clenches. “Dean, just leave it. I just wanna go home.” “I’m not gonna drop it! You two were so much in love it made me wanna puke, what the hell happened?” “You died!” Sam says and you look down at your feet as you say, “Dean wasn’t the only thing that died that night.” Sam glances over at you and you scowl at him. “I’m going home.” You say as you turn away from them and start for the door.

“_______ wait,” You hear Sam say and you freeze. “Sam just drop it. You broke my heart once; I won’t give you another chance.” You go to open the door but stop. Turning back toward him you say, “How dare you! I loved you and you just left me when I needed you most! I was so lonely when Dean died! I had just lost my best friend then I also lost the only man I had ever loved! I needed you, but you weren’t there for me.” “I’m sorry _______,” “Oh you’re sorry, well guess what sorry don’t cut it!” The you turn toward Dean and Bobby and say, “And you two! I didn’t wanna come here but you made me any way, are you happy now?!”

Dean goes to say something but you reach up and hand and say, “Shut up Dean,” You turn back to Sam as tears start to fill your eyes, “I hate you Sam Winchester, with every fiber of my being. I hate you!” He looks down at his hands and pouts. “You wanna know the worst part?” He slowly looks up into your (E/C) eyes as you say, “Is that no matter how much I hate you, I also love you more than life itself.” You walk over and wrap your arms around him. He in return wraps his arms around you and says, “________, I am so sorry. I fucked up. I love you.” You smile into his chest as you say, “I love you too.” You hear Dean let out a chuckle and say, “See told ya, just needed a push.” You smile and then it hits you. You and Sam were well on your way to an amazing reconciliation.
