Well no matter, baby steps first man. Anime's not bad once you get down to it. Hell, I know some good ones that are unique and well-structured in story and whatnot growing up. Just need to give it a chance and see how it turns out for ya.

They piss on you? Why do they urine problems on you, man? Anywho, try watching Yu-Gi-Oh season 0 in regular subbed version, that one is hella dark tones before it got to the 4kids dubbed ones we know here in america.

The only exception is the 2003 TMNT show. That one was actually the only tolerable series they created that isn't anime.

Yeah, they put a lot of effort into that show. The only downside is that Shredder is a fucking Utrom that's as evil as Kraang. Sorry 2k3 tmnt, I'll take my chances with 2012 Shredder. That one was a badass villain who (spoilers!) had the balls to kill Master Splinter in the season 3 finale! I could complain how they made Irma a Kraang spy with the voice of iago the parrot the whole damn time was just unbearably jumping the shark moment for me, but with Season 4 on the other hand, that one has the Utroms and they made them interesting and made up for it that they got the original Irma and Bishop as a Utrom, so that one's okay in my book. Plus they got 10th Doctor from Doctor Who to voice the Fugitoid and Zelda Williams to voice Mona Lisa, that made me squee that Raphael's got a love interest with the alien lizard woman who sounds like Kuvira from Legend of Korra. My Geek sense tingle with joy here...
