Editing screencaps are hard... but fun.
Even though the Friendship Games takes place after Crusaders of the Lost Mark, there's no change in the human world to reflect this. We don't know how cutie marks work in the human world; even so, I think these three should have at least gotten updated outfits. They're so ugly! I completely redrew Apple Bloom's legs so they looked more human; Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's weren't as obvious. I gave them matching jackets and changed Sweetie's outfit's color scheme.

Given that Cutie Marks are not a concept in the EqG world, I would assume that the 'Crusaders' are searching for something altogether different.

In my headcanon human designs, the CMC have their Cutie Marks as little badges. On the left for AB, on the right for SC, and on the skirt for SB.

It's entirely possible they DID have their cutie marks in Friendship Games, but when it was released before CotLM, they had to go back and edit the marks out so as to avoid spoilers.
