oh boystill trying to survive without pressure sensitivity. all drawn on one layer. I really like how my paintings look when drawn on one layer so I think I'll keep doing that (also 'Fall' was done on one layer)
Inspired by a random blob a friend drew up for me

A couple weeks ago I started a new method of drawing where I would just make a blob and find something to draw from it lol...

One layer master race. It's immesurably harder to control, especially when it comes to the illusion of depth in intricate pieces, but it feels so much more like an actual painting. Also, by similarity of shape, it reminds me of Minoan sculpture (the snake goddess statue).

I've been trying to experiment with GIMP and such - I was wondering if you've ever used any other programs besides photoshop...and if you recommend any other programs?

paint tool sai is pretty popular. it's a good program, I recommend it. I just don't like it personally, but that's probably because I'm so used to Photoshop lol
there's another program called 'Krita'
Krita is basically the same thing as photoshop, only free with less features.
