Description
I changed a few things about this and I think it is much improved!Β This is done with Bristol Vellum paper, charcoal and graphite pencils, a kneaded eraser and a white gel pen.Related content

You got a great expression and lots of character - and I love the way you did the hair!

Thanks!Β I've been drawing since before Orlando Bloom was born, so I've had a little practice!Β I looked through your gallery and I think your drawings are quite good including the OB one.Β Something in your gallery made me think you might be still in high school (forgive me if I'm wrong) and you are more skilled than I was at that age.Β Honestly practice and getting tips from otherΒ artists is the best way to improve, and you already have a lot of talent, so I think you have amazing potential.Β Keep up the good work and thanks again for taking the time to comment!.Β

Thank you and yes he is!Β I'm getting dangerously close to 50, and started drawing around age 8. Β MyΒ youngest child is your age, and she's a good artist too, like you, though more interested in abstract than realism.Β I am a self taught artist, and have only been selling my work regularly in the last few years and I've gotten quite a few tips from realism/portrait artists on D/A.Β I'd be happy to offer you some suggestions if you like, not that you need much help.Β You are already very skilled, better than I was at 16.Β
