i keep returning to this image. why? because it's brilliant.
it was this image that first drew me to the photographer's page, and start following her work. she has an eye for creating beautiful and memorable images. this is a fine example of her skill and her vision.
for vision, i have awarded 4 stars... it's clear the photographer has clear vision as to create attention-grabbing themes. wonderful. i cannot wait to see more...
for originality, i have only awarded 3 as i have seen many 'levitation' images. nothing new here in the concept, however the photographer has shed new light on this concept. figuratively speaking, with the beam of light coming down from above and through the forest ceiling... like she is being beamed up, to a higher state of consciousness or dreamlike abduction... it's great to see her innovate.
for technique, i have awarded 4 stars... there's something wrong in the perspective/lighting of the main subject... the beam of light is coming in from up to the right, but i feel the lighting on her body is too much and loses a little definition. but this doesn't detract from it being a really good photograph.
for impact, i have awarded a full-fat 5 star... like i said, initially, i keep returning to this image, and i have been seduced by this image so much so that i want to see more from this developing artist. she's gifted.

So well...reviewed your artwork bit reminds me to Kalis, but point to this picture. As we see its very popular theme, and we are seeing you PS skills also.
But now real critique.
What I like: composition, idea, tones, technique, PS skills
Dislike: (these are just advices maybe you will agree, may not, but I hope it will help for you).
The exposure value between main character and background is too much (the light areas starting be highligts), sunshine is too much in the forest...please less PS and maybe you will get more with using reflectors- huge white surfaces in the sunshine...but these just my opinion. Congratulation, recommended photography

Thank you! Great critique. I agree with you on the two exposures. The sun was more vibrant for the shot of the character which was a shame so I thought I would try and run with it. Thanks for your time and feedback
