This is a piece of artwork that I'd be proud to have on my wall. I like the use of concentric circles on the rocks to give them dimension, and the little tufts of grass scattered amongst the rocks adds little unexpected faces here and there that make you want to go hunting for more unintentional faces.

If you were to put this print up for sale in the future, I'd be interested to know.

Bright Blessings

Good evening! Thank you so much for your kind comments, I actually enjoyed painting the rocks the most. Funny you should mention the hidden faces, as there are little cat shapes hidden amongst the circles on the rocks! C: I have had this piece printed a few times on A3 matte paper and must say it looks pretty good! I am actually setting up a print / illustration store, I will keep you posted. C:

Beautiful colours and scenery as always . These qualities are what captivating to me about your artworks. The fingerprint like pattern on the rock is a really nice touch along with the detail of individual leaves. An excellence piece to me for both version .

I really, really like how the patterns on the rock turned out. They're like engravings. I am so glad you like these, I am very happy with how they turned out and I'm glad they could bring joy to their visionaries.

I love it! Just had to come say it I'm the one to whine to your commissioner there to tell you to do "less that... no, more that... no. NO. yes. NO. I'm depressed if the cat is alone. I want another cat." XD

This is really awesome! I think the lines are a little too thick on the other one, but I had time deciding what I liked more!

BettinaMarson In reply to nifty-acres [2010-02-19 21:42:58 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! It's amazing to see which version people prefer! This is actually A3 resolution so I think the lines look a little thick in the tiny size for dA. I'm curious how it looks printed out, though!

GORGEOUS! I just love the colours and the work you did on the rocks- it looks like there are Celtic carvings on them!

BettinaMarson In reply to Allatwan [2010-02-19 21:57:36 +0000 UTC]

Thank you! I'm so glad you see they're drawn like carvings. I thought I would try my usual style of lines in a more realistic way - as if they were engraved into the rock, this time, instead of overlayed.
