I think Prompto was supposed to be that kinda guy when the game was going to be Final Fantasy Versus Thirteen, more mischievious and a bad influence on Noct and I believe there was a rumor he was going to at some point in the Versus story betray the group, but they changed both his personality and design to the Prompto we all know and love today when they made it into Final Fantasy Fifteen? Not sure, but I think some of that is right... Lol
