Angst-rich and open to interpretation.-----
Finally broke away from the usual background/lights setup. Still the same old model, though.
Cropped, toned, layered, dodged & burned in Photoshop. Comments & suggestions for improvement would be Very Much AppreciatedTM.

If I had to interpret this, i'd go with something along the lines of: The strings represent all things that bind us and hold us back from exposing our true selves (the complete face).

Fantastic piece.
To be honest, when I first saw it i thought of Jesus with the crown of thorns. Something about it struck me that way.
You look terrifed, but not suprised, slightly expectant as if you're waiting for something to happen. The border suits it perfectly, and it has a nice contrast.
I like, a lot.

i'll always stick with that strenght with the facial expression. definitively, you are able to communicate something with your eyes and it's always new and fresh. the gray tones are very well handled and the contrast, the density give a great touch to the composition. amazing. again.

ooo, beautiful... in some way that i couldn't really describe. i think it's maybe the look on the model's face, or the fact that it's black and white, or... the concept. well, whatever it is, it kicks ass.
