I had forgotten about this technique. Your patience captured an elusive image.
Patience can be fleeting like the swirls of ink or resolute like the very last cypsela fruit clinging to the dandelion in "Last to Fly"............The latter you can make a wish upon, when it eventually deigns to fly, and the former you can watch as it quickly lives its short life -morphing into infinite streams of conciousness.
I wonder why Patience has such a magical effect on different events in our lives........granting wishes and giving birth to endless paths.
Thank you for posting this picture. I am going to experiment with the technique again, now that I have rediscovered it on your page. I was sorry to hear about your Dad, from looking at all of your Art-and the emotions it conveys- He must have been very proud of your work. Have Patience with all of the emotions you are feeling, they all need to unfold in their own natural way.
I know it has not been a long time and it still hurts every day- after losing my Mom to Esophageal cancer it took years for the pain to go away. I hope your Patience, with the loss of his passing, eventually grants you an incredible wish (one that he would have wanted for you) like the Dandelion Puff and also gives birth to endless paths of Discovery like the beautiful blue lines emerging in the water of the vase.
Many things in Life can be elusive, I hope your happiness proves to be manifest amidst the surrealism.
Thanks again for posting your Ink creation..............W

i used a clear flower vase with water and acrylic ink. For the lighting i used a 35 watt halogen bulb.
Patience for the right mass of patterns and colours for form was a pain lol
