Nothing was heard over the howling winds of the blizzard that approached them. His heart raced, his body shook. His gaze, fierce. Focused on the monster in front of him. "Koja, you don't need to do this! We can figure this out!" His brother, Shujaa, exclaimed. The red maned demon gave a simple growl in protest to his words.

"Oh no Shujaa.. you lost that privilege a long time ago!" And with Koja's stinging words, he lay a hard smack to Shujaa's face, causing him to stumble and fall flat on his rear. His head hung, blood dripping from his mouth. His whiskers frozen and his eyes sharp. Koja had caused him to bleed.. the look in Koja's eyes was something of nightmares. Dark, twisted and evil. Not a hint of himself left. It broke Shujaa's heart into pieces. His brow furrowed and he glanced up at his twisted brother.

"Your hatred has changed you Koja.. I never thought I'd see the day where I'd face my brother in battle." Shujaa's words were hollow, almost without meaning, and yet, there was so much meaning behind them. "Tell me Koja...would it have made a difference..? There was nothing he could've done! He ordered me to kill him! He was in so much pain Koja, couldn't you tell?! You saw the pain in his eyes! You can't tell me you didn't! He wanted his suffering to end and he wanted me to be the one to end it, he knew you would've let him die in pain, rather than die quick and painless. I'm not a murderer. Mother see's that! Everyone does, so why can't you?!" Shujaa's words stung even his own throat as he spoke them.

"ENOUGH TALKING!" Koja shouted and with that, ran at Shujaa and pounced...

A little sneak peak for a comic I have in mind *Phew* Man I'm glad I drew this! The idea just..came to me! The comic won't be coming for a long while yet, simply because I have yet to get a new computer. I drew that on my fathers computer.

So tell me... who do you think Shujaa had to end the suffering of?
