This was my dream since the film came out in 2004 and now I have finally made it. Erika is my favourite Barbie ever and it was because of her that I wanted to become a seamstress.
Dress is fully made by me, see my gallery for my pics with my gorgeous Anneliese AND my Erika Princess Dress.
Wig is also made by me, sewn 2 together to make it really big and full like a Barbie's hair.

oh wow ^-^ Erika inspired me to sew too! Fabulous cosplay btw. I have the anneliese barbie and I've wanted the erika one ever since I saw the movie! (don't tell my mom I still like dolls)

This cosplay is amazing I've been wanting to do an Erika cosplay for quite some time I loved this movie as a kid and I own all the dolls but i have no custome making skill or time would you by chance be willing to make me one obviously I would reimburse you for material and labor

I really love this! My best friend and I are cosplaying as Annaliese and Erika and going to a children's hospital. Do you have designs for the cosplay?

I made mine from a pattern I made myself! I think Annaliese made hers from a custom bodice pattern and her skirt was a full circle skirt with lots of layers.

"And your always free to believe!" Love your Erika! <3 You don't really see her cosplayed, only Anneliese. You also have a lovely singing voice. I've seen all the performances you and Street-Angel have done on youtube and I really like them.

To be fair, Anneliese's dress is much more exciting and more "Barbie" and of course, many people only cosplay Barbie for a laugh so y'know.
That sounds super exciting ! We were meant to have a preminger but still in the convincing stage for that one !
Also, me and SA have so much planned. We are doing Tori and Keira very soon and I am doing Odette in a few months. ALL THE COSPLAYS. SO LITTLE TIME.

We are going to do both "standard" Popstar Keira and Princess Tori, as well as the Finale dresses with the big ass butt skirts. I think she wants to do the little pink dress Tori has (well, Keira wears it as Tori) so if she does I will probably do the layered frilly Keira outfit too.
I will be doing the finale/doll dress. I intend on doing them all but for this one I fancy doing the whole light up wings and big crown and everything
