ooo what a pretty flower. The composition is really nice. It's so easy to just notice the flower since its so in focus. Did you use a camera lense to focus on it or did you use masks?

really now? I'm just referencing some magazine tutorials for photoshop in the past and saw how they did it. But it's good to see some really nice work done. I really need to work harder on my own stuff haha. good job again

It's very possible to do, and I suppose it would work well for certain situations...but in most of my shots I prefer to just use my lens, because I think it produces a more genuine, honest effect.

thanks for the info. what camera do you use? Or at least what would you recommend. My camera is rather dinky and not great with quality. The reason I ask is I need some really good quality pictures of textures so that I can apply them to stuff. Last question promise. thanks again

I just upgraded to a Canon Digital Rebel XSi in November. I adore it - my first SLR. It's better than I ever could have imagined...I would highly recommend it.
