Description
someone requested for me to tut him, so this is for him. however if you try it, please show me what you make =]hope I made the steps clear for all of you, and that the images help. a short tut, if Im honest
hope you have fun trying it out.
----------------------------------
Made with and for cs2, can probably be used by cs3, but I am not sure about lower versiona as Ive never had anything below cs2 in photoshop.
no need to download any brushes or use any c4d's. all you need is a stock/render and this tut
Don't rip.
-----------
IMPORTANT~!!!!!!
I always leave something out XD
PLAY AROUND WITH THE JITTER SETTINGS ON THE CHALK BRUSH WHEN SMUDGING. MAKE IT SO THAT THE SHAPE OF YOUR BRUSH LOOKS SIMILAR TO MINE.

I made my own brushes with the outcome of your settings, I just print screen and rendered the bits of it, and made my own brush that looks exactly like the one you used.

Nice tut! I reckon I could follow this using GIMP but I don't think GIMP has any Chalk Brushes... does anyone know of/have some good chalk-type brushes for GIMP?

when I had gimp, I adored using the default vine brush to smudge. it's a very good brush to use for this sort of thing.
this is to you too frozn =]

Great tutorial. I like the smudging and the colour adjustment steps helped too, I've been wondering how to do that with gradients.
