I was bored at my aunts sooo I went for a walk around the Prairies in Manitoba and took photos of the mist and stuff. Haha.Related content

Very dramatic contrast. There is something about this image that really grabs me. It might be that ominous green hue that seems to be bleeding in from the top left... or the mist, which turns the land in the distance into quite a tenuous barrier between the land and sky. Probably it's all those things in combination. I don't know much about photography so I can't comment much on the technical aspects of it, but I find this has a strong emotional impact, one that is clearly a bit too slippery for me to describe

Well... I try to evoke some sort of emotion in all my photos and hope that people can relate to them (= So thank you! I am glad this grasps you.

growing up and living in new england most of my life i had many experiences like this, where i felt both isolated and amazed

Yes. They are both great feelings... though feeling isolated can become depressing often..

once in a while it can be, then i would take a nap and that depression would go away
