Basically this idea came ot me in a dream... about a butterfly attached to my mouth ... it was weird. Anyways, basically the butterfly symbolizes freedom.. and how sometimes we want freedom but cannot speak of it. Sometimes we can feel so trapped that we want to scream byt silenced by the fact that screaming gets us no where. But we will always be silenced by the fact that one day we will be free, but to be silent until then and wait until it comes.
