I really like this. I don't know much about paintings and such, but the textures and colors I find to be really incredible in the form, especially contrasting with the white.Β

I like this a lot. I like the brush strokes and the movement of the painting. I really enjoy the colors you used too.

he he, mobile phone is the best anti-boredom invention for models, plus it provides a new subject for painters - double winner!

And third- painting is perfect philosophical view on young lonely souls, model of life, not so far of poor Munk. Man is naked and have no spear in his hand.

OOo my so cool ! My first love is drawing/painting. But due to crazy circumstances I became allergic to the paints. I'm trying to get back into it via colored pencils...I really like your use of color in this! Bravo!

oils AND acrylic? pity, you should try painting with art softwares, there are some really good ones, with amazingly realistic paint effects. and a lot less mess

Thanks, but dont!!! lots of lead and other pigment chemicalsΒ and turpentine! I've been told that for my "femme chocolat " painting (hence the title) but never for thisΒ one!

I am a big fan of white textures - something I can never get right, so I am breathless with admiration at how other artists pull it off!

Nice of you to say that, I can never get it right either :-D But I often paint heavily with colours before covering them with white or off-white. That gives a texture to the painting that the white paint brings out, and the colours eventually reappear slightly after all is dry, giving the white areas interesting tones

not directly, but from sketches done from life...(harder to find models who would take long poses for oil)
