One thing that bothered me about the FF series and even anime, is the fact that the main male character is surrounded by hot women.Yet the main guy seems to ignore them.Well with this drawing I've decided to have Tifa get more aggressive in trying to get Clouds attention. This drawing is set after Advent children. Tifa decides to put on her old outfit from FF7 in order to get Clouds attention. As you can see Tifa has gotten a bit curvy since FF7. Certain pieces of the outfit are a bit snug and gotten smaller. Cloud notices it too.Even though he doesn't show it. He still sneaks in a peek and notices Tifa's ass has gotten bigger. Which is illustrated in his thought bubble.

I think it's because they don't want to portray him... as a douche. More like a player that knows he can get any woman, but is focused on bigger things at that time. And not Tifa's breast. Which are great btw. xD Nice job. I think in other Final Fantasy Series (in this case 10) there is only a little dialogue that asks 'who is your type?' and you get a chance to choose between any of the girls in your party at that time. For instance, Lulu, Rikku, and Yuna. Choosing Luna is the funniest option imo.

Admiring or even telling a women that she is hot doesn't make you a douche. There are polite ways a man can let a woman know that he is attracted to her. You barely get even that from male RPG characters. But yeah I am sure Cloud was focused on saving the world.Cloud is also kind of emo-ish as a character.

i think some anime characters come off as pervy and things when they 'admire' female characters.
not necessarily talking about real life men. but anime is weird regardless...

I couldn't agree more with you, male characters personify the adolescent boys every time, courageous yet mannered, this is worthy and very skilled B. I might have to try my hand at this subject. Worst was Fraan and Balthier, are you kidding me, her accent alone did it, and he was a pimp too.
