Great design! I always like to see pipework in mecha designs, i suppose because we see them all the time on industrial robots, so it adds a functional realism to a concept. I have to say the legs are superb , they are just...right!

lol, yeah. When I was in Industrial Design, flashy was great (provided there werent too many lens flares). but now that im in illustration, i can no longer just rely on pretty shiny stuff...i have to work on creating pieces that have more meaning/emotion/impact. I need more concept.
but there will always be a special place in my heart for that shininess...(=

well no, its a reoccurring transient life form that volunteered to control a bio-engineered tentacle-eee carbon mass body.... thats is now in a human-made, War Strider....which is now helping the alliance relinquish a parasite infested planet (full of zombies). He is seeking redemption from his former sins apparently, so now he fights to help others... so that he may escape the never ending limbo that his soul is confined to. the question is, will his creator accept his violent actions as heroic selflessness, or see it as merely a childish/short-termed anger resolution?
