I see one person, saying that I am a dirt bag and sonamy fantard from defending amy. :^)


But when I defend Sally and point out fanbrats flaws; he says nothing but hounds after and indirectly says sonamy fans are 'horrid' and litterally calls people out when they didn't even say anything offensive but point out things about amy nor was talking about him. I am tired of his lies and drama. Telling people that 'insert below' is idiotic, Amy is a diease, and they should gtfo. When sonamy haters get bad and pissy he says 0. Only once he spoken about sonicteam. He really needs to see this and remember the differences and both sides can get fanbratish. He shouldn't call people out like this: #GreenDingo777 . Either.

I don't really support SonAmy, but I don't HATE it either. I look at Sonic as having brotherly love for Amy, that's it. But I completely agree with this. It's about time someone says it.

like, why do people overobess about a fintional characters love? i mean, get a life and get your own love that you can obsess about.

I totally agree. The Sonamy fanbase does have a lot of brats, partly due to the pair being at least half canon - from Amy's end without a doubt.
Canon hinted pairs will always have their nazis who will flame anything that tries to deviate from the canon. It's the same in any fanbase. And whenever I see someone forcing Sonamy down anyone else's throat, despite being a huge Sonamy fan myself, it makes me cringe. They're not going us any favours!
In some ways, it's us fans of the pair that suffer the most, because we have to put up with the horrible rep we're left with. It's very hard to be a Sonamy fan and have any respect in the fandom at all. All you do is mention you like the pair and you're automatically written off as a "n00b who can't tell the difference between what's canon and what's not." Everyone's allowed their own interpretation, but what bothers me is that haters are allowed to claim "he doesn't like her" as if it's an undeniable fact and no one gives a damn, but dare we suggest that he likes her, and forget to put the "I think" prefix on it, and people will come down on us like a ton of bricks. What makes their interpretation somehow superior?

And I've definitely run into a lot of brats from other pairs, who can't tolerate Sonamy or it's fans. Some people just want to discuss their differences, and I'm fine with that - I even enjoy it, but some take it a lot further than that. I don't understand why Sonamy is the only pair that's really labelled the "fanbrat ridden pair", since I've come across just as many brats from other pairs, who are completely disregarded by the general fanbase. I appreciate that the Sonamy brats that do exist, can be a royal pain in the neck, (seriously, they're a headache for us too) but it's really unfair for people to put the full blame on just one side of our huge and intolerant fandom. *sigh*

Anyway, what I basically meant to say with all that, is that I agree with you. Both sides are just as bad, and we all need to just live and let live.

Haters and fanbrats are one in the same, but I don't see how the age-gap and one-sided argument should be considered stupid reasons. Some people just don't feel comfortable with a pairing where one of the characters is not a teen yet, and the other is in their mid teens. The one-sided argument is also a matter of opinion, not ignorance (unless people are giving biased reasons on why it's one-sided). I know you're referring to the rabid-haters, but I just wanted to point these out.
