I was rewatching HOND and noticed how often Frollo would touch Quasimodo's hair/face. Admittedly this may have been part of the emotional manipation, yet Frollo is clearly a tactile man. *cough*Esmeralda manhandling *cough * which is why I like this portrait. Frollo was not the best parent but it is a sad reminder of how he could have let Quasimodo change him if fully opened to selfless love.
