Transformers: Animated, Shockwave. About to...do something horrible...to the viewer, I suppose.He is supposed to be "Shh" with his talon, buuuuut...I can also sorta see it that he could be clicking his "tongue" (if he has one...oO) in that fake concerning tone while tapping said talon on his face plate, before mutilating whoever it is, while saying something in that awesome voice, of course-masterfully done by Corey Burton.
Found this tribute accidentally while looking for some good ref of 'ole Shocky in this form...and this one, is actually REALLY good. The part with his face as Longarm and the eye showing up in the lens on his head at :30 is epic.

The original file name was "God is God", as I was listening to Juno Reactor when I first got the idea of this image a month or so ago...
But I listened to Until is Sleeps by Metallica of course, covered by Apocalyptica, near the end of it's completion- and it fit rather well. Well, that, and the song playing in the tribute. LOL
I like the fact I was able to get the look I wanted, without actually doing the whole painting thing. Another step in the right direction perhaps...I am still trying to tweak with what I want for color randering. I had to alter some of the linework, as this is older...some of the parts were out of place to my tastes now a days. Argh.
He is looking rather diabolical and sinister here-and he isn't even my favorite...but he grew on me QUITE a bit while working on this...but not so much.
Just reminds me, I really need to do something like this with a couple of my favorites, namely, well, my ALL TIME FAVORITE...'ole BUCKETHEADRAGEYPANTS-er, MEGATRON...LOL. Now, hopefully, can get some other things done...well, after I finish some holiday driving...
I am sure we remember who owns Transformers...but if we don't, Oh, Hasbroken...how you hurt me by cutting off this wonderful series.

I saw the video of when the cast was reading scripts and I loved the part where a fan was saying Megatron's lines and Steve is doing Starscream's. Then Steve is like "Curse these script lines!"
Yep, I shiver when I hear him with SS's voice. I watched some recordings he's done for fans on youtube and it's just like, GUUUUhhhhh /drool
I'm hoping the next BotCon will be closer next year, I'd love to go.

And if you saw the video on the hub, i'm actually in one of the scenes where they are looking over the crowd in the room. LOL I thought it was hilarious. xD I'm sitting next to a couple of fellow DA artists.

I can't even find the video now >< I know the beginning has the actors for Jack and Raf, along with Steve, talking to the camera while they are going to the panel. I'll find it sometime. lol, very nice. I think if I ever go to a panel, I'd try to wear a Tophat with the Con insignia on it so i can find myself XD

Ah, I got an art table from Hobby Lobby. Although it's current use is as a computer desk *cough* I don't mind a day trip (road trips don't bother me), but no way would I travel at it alone. I've been on the road way too many times to know that there are some freaky ass people out there...

Oh! Not a drawing art table! I mean like a table to display and sell prints of my art and stuff actually! But yeah, I got a nice table from Michael's myself! And lol...fun...mine also has a use other than it's designated- I store all my art paper and some books on it. xD
And yeah, if things work out I should have some peoples with me for the trip. It just all depends. Still a long year ahead of us.

True, It does make me happy. I had really bad roommates my first year of college. And the dorm was ripping us off. 770 bucks a month with 3 other roommates (each person paid 770 for this 2 bedroom apartment!) I currently pay 395 a month. But eh, I have student loans that I'm using for it too.
Alot of my artwork is in this massive binder I made in high school. If I wasn't working on my portfolio then they'd be everywhere too. Once I get my printer and rearrange my bedroom and fit the art desk in there, then I'll prob have papers tacked to the walls.
You'll find a place, I know its specially hard in a large city too. It took me a while to find an apartment here cuz most of the cheaper ones were very scary areas...

I'm still pondering just decking it out here for the most part until things that have come up get taken care of. I may be able to move in with friends and do a room mate situation...but i've been considering lately maybe taking up schooling for Criminal Justice and if anything happens with that, i'll be able to get my own place. I'm not so sure right now however, but it's mostly due to my lack of motivation in the art department and I can't work if that does not come back.

Might want to try the roommate situation, at least you know those friends very well. I bet the different setting will help you out tremendously.

Well, I currently am now liked backed up on what I want to do, but my brain went back heavily to dealing with art again.
I just allowed myself again to get sucked into something by way of just...people. It's a bad habit of mine to allow others to influence my thoughts quite a bit. Art is my real REAL thing. When i'm in a good positive mindset, I do pretty much anything. Just been bogged down with so much IRL crap that in that state i'm easily moved for things then realize later that isn't what I wanted to begin with.

Don't feel bad, everyone goes through it. I'm actually trying to get over my close friend through college using me for my money. I went out all the time with him and spent so much just eating out, using gas, and helping him with crap. Realizing whats happened just sucks!

Times change I guess...but what has been going on lately until I finally put my foot down and listened to everyone worked out.
I like to believe i'm strong and somehow this weird path that hopped out of nowhere is going to aid me in some way. I guess we'll see how time goes.

Shockwave was always one of my faves, made it especially galling when he never got a lot of screen time. Yeah he was dark in this one, too bad we didn't get a chance to see more of him, CN pulling the plug for more of their live action bs. Thanks CN, we didn't need a good non-anime action show, that's ok. Oh you're replacing it with Hole in the wall, something even Disney, DISNEY, didnt want oh thanks you're so kind to your fans. Insert angry grumbling here. *rant over*

I hear you dude. It's enough to make you insane. It's a sad day when you can't seem to find any good CARTOONS on a channel that has the audacity to call itself...wait for it... CARTOON NETWORK!! Seriously, someone tell me if they like Destroy Build Destroy or Dude What would Happen or would take those two over Transformers animated or any of the other good toons they shafted for those pieces of garbage?

I feel you there man. At least we still have Adult Swim, it's not much but it's somemthing. What I'd give to have Toonami back, hell to have Toonami as its own channel, I'd watch that in a heartbeat. At least then we'd be guaranteed to have something worth our time! I mean Flapjack, Billy and Mandy, DBD, DWWH; these shows get air time but I can't see any old episodes of Dexter's Lab, Megas XLR, Swat Kats, or Transformers Animated (the only good version of transformers CN has shown since freakin' Beast Wars! *I didn't care for the Unicron saga in the slightest*) Ok I'm starting to go into rage mode, so I better end this psuedo rant with, I don't get why networks are getting rid of what made them so good. I simply don't understand.

Yeah, I don't know either and I agree with you. There was a lot of other old shows CN used to play, even before Toonami was implemented that were just awesome. I wish they'd have like a "OLD" version of CN, showing all these old shows and old cartoon movies that wasn't effected by the new version with all its...stuff.

I hear that, some of the older shows do get airtime on that Boomerang network that CN set up before they lost their damn minds. As far as I know some of the old action shows like Swat Katz and Megas are there along with older cartoons. My only problem; I shouldn't have to order a specialty network to good cartoons. But as more and more of the good stuff goes the way of the dinosaur, I find that the issue I've had matters less and less, Kind of wish I could trade Boomerang for CN at least then I'd have something worth my time.

True. Thank God for Youtube and other such websites, it's almost worth putting up with the incessant ads and their tendency for taking down good vids; at least with them I can watch them. As for the Hub, it has it's faults but I can watch classic GI Joe and Transformers, and their reboots of those two series are pretty good all things considered.
