That's Grogar. Bad ass villain in the My Little Pony world. However, in the real world he lives in fear of all vets everywhere as they have a magic word to make him reverse Tambelon into the Realms of Darkness forever. "Neuter!" Much better than having to ring a bell.

well, I do this question becouse I saw your works, especially these pics and say that your illustration(especially version "bad ass"..it) inspired me a lot and I am working on a fanfic,a remake of Tambelon story arc, basead in the new cartoon show...
so, I like of your pics and ideas for this character and I hope, in the future, saw more things with him in your style ^^

well, for this idea, I'm doing some new things, for example the new look for Tambelon city and the Grogar's army, in the case, of course are goats
becouse if the royal guard of Celestia are greek like armored pegasus, I imagine the Gragar's soldiers as viking like armored goats

and, this will answer a question in the original cartoon
in the ebisode, the sea ponies was also kidnapped, but in the end it was not shown what happened to them
thus in Tambelon city exist in a group of ponies prisoners, the sea ponies

Hmmm, I never noticed that...but then we are talking about a cartoon episode I haven't seen since I was like... a wee, WEE little kid. I probably never even noticed that about the sea ponies at all.
It would be neat to see them in the new show too, even if I don't watch it much. lol

For a moment, I though it might be Chirin from Chirin no Suzu aka "The Ringing Bell", but Chirin's bell was much smaller and his horns faced forward. I see from ~Vraptor140's comment below who this old goat was. Love the unhappy face cutey mark on the pony.

Well Grogar is suitably menacing and demonic looking, especially towering over that little pony.
On that note, the pony (or is it supposed to be Bray?) is also very well done. the scared expression is perfect.

Hehehe, thank you! Yeah, I had to make him an imposing scary thing. He used to scare me quite a bit as a kid.
And the pony is just random OMGUHNO pony really. Lol, super fight between Grogar and Princess Celestia would be awesome.

Yes two things Grogar most certainly was were scary and powerful.
I'm not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed that I only discovered the original MLP show and its awesome villains later in life (I was born at the very end of the 80's so a lot that era of cartoons I only caught occasional reruns of growing up. Mostly Transformers) It's likely Grogar would have scared me as a kid as well.
And yes Grogar dueling with Celestia would be epic.

He just needs to be in it, they need to add some villians in there eventually as i'd hate to see it go down the same like the G3 line which didn't have ANY villains at all.

Well they've had some "Villains" but they tend to be more along the lines of obstacles (Manticores and Hydras and Griffons, oh my) than anything truly evil. However the show hasn't had many multi-part episodes and is fairly episodic for the most part of the epic style villains of G1 don't come up much save for the pilot.
Regardless unless someone majorly screws up or there is a big time corporate mandate requiring something stupid then MLP:FiM will never be remotely close to as bad as G3.

I gotcha there. And yeeeah...G3 and it's animation and story and ugh. I have so many of the ponies myself but ugh, that show was just horrible.
It's nice to see the other fantastic animals in that world as opposed to what's been put out since g1, but crossing fingers still...

Indeed to this day we fans aren't sure how the G1 writers and animators managed to get away with guys like Tirac and Grogar although I think a lot of what was scary about grogar was his presence, attitude and well competence as much as his appearance. So I can buy that he could be used, I think he might have a better shot than Tirac (Centaur-Satan is to this day pretty hard core for small children)
And the great things about FiM's use of fantastic animals is that Hasbro owns Wizards of the Coast, the guys who do Dungeons and Dragons so they have several Monster Manuals worth of mythical beasties that they can use, all ready to go.

I think you are right about that. Tirac was pretty damn creepy back then, they'd probably avoid using something like him even if they could "dumb him down" to the style.
And haha, you are right! Perhaps that is where they are pulling some of these critters from!
