Personally I don't want to see or read any of it. I don't care for the author's views on supernatural beings, her life choices, or her writing. I just don't. I refuse to toss out money just so that I can be a part of a herd.
Vampires do not sparkle! That sissy-ass, mamby-pamby, bull-hockey would just make them easier targets for hunters! I agree with this artist's views 100%.

Have any of you read the book? NOT THE MOVIE! I've never seen any movie that has been as good as the book, I'm talking about the book here. But this would apply well to the movie

I have in fact seen a movie that is better or as good as the book. "The Outsiders" was so very well done. It even had actors that were hardly even heard of at the time. Emilio Estevez, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Tom, Cruise, and Ralph Macchio -from The Karate Kid. It's a fairly old movie but it is so good!
I understand and accept the fact that you cannot have EVERY little detail in a movie due to running time. Yes, sometimes key points in a movie differ from the ones in the books. But to have a movie that appears strictly made on cliff-notes from the book is just lazy!

I've both read the book and seen the movie, and aside from the acting (which was cringe-worthy at best) I thought the movie was actually very well-done in terms of cinematography. Aside from the acting, its major downfall for me was that it's Twilight, so it was pretty much doomed from the start. As for Meyer's writing skills, her story was unoriginal and clichΓ© from start to finish. Her writing lacked depth and substance, the dialogue and narration were in many parts nearly unbearable, and the characters were bland and one-dimensional. It's been a while since I read the Harry Potter series, but I enjoyed them when I did - perhaps you're simply older than Rowling's target audience and can't appreciate her writing style for that.
(I wonder if Vivprincess realizes that it's considerably crazier to base one's life around a book...)

I'm not a fan of twilight, but You know, You wasted *enter a number here* minutes of your life on making art of something you hate. Yes, the Twilight stuff is REALLY annoying. I agree. But the hate posters don't make it better.

J.K. Rowling? You can't be serious... Meyer's writing skills are much better then Rowlings! Rowling doesn't have the best writing skills in the world and its hilarious to see her angry at other authors when she seems to think she's 'amazing', although I do agree that Rowling's storyline was fairly original, but once you got past that, it was all very predictable!Meyer's story-lines were much better, I guessed about 90% of what was going to happen in the Harry Potter series way before things were even brought up! At least Meyer had me surprised sometimes...

In Harry Potter, I guessed quite a bit of what was happening, but in the Twilight series, when my friend was "spoiling" me, I guess what was gonna happen beforehand and got everything pretty much right xD

I too saw it just about everywhere yesterday. I went out to see a movie with my nieces and afterward went to a music shop, the dvd's and cd's for the twilight movie were everywhere AND posters
