The mob boss's mistress - herself wanted for murder - reached for her gun, but the feisty blonde PI pounced on her in the nick of time. They fought furiously, raking at each other with their nails, ripping and tearing each other's dresses, and making deep scratch marks on each other's arms and faces, before the sassy blonde seized the femme fatale's wrist in a vice-like grip, twisted savagely, and disarmed the screaming gun moll. The disarmed and defeated villainess's tears of rage and frustration reflected her realization that she'd been overpowered despite having had the gun, and that her loss had condemned her to a life sentence in prison, courtesy of the plucky PI.
