Description
Meet Rose Quartz my second pony custom. I made her for the contest held at the md meet. She was a pinky pie pony.I did a lot to this girl! I rehaired her with dollyhair's, virgin snow and pussycat. I added a extra row of plugs to her mane. After the rehair I drilled a bunch of pearl beads so they could become cap beads and *float in her hair*
I would put a small knot in a strain of her hair and then caped it with a pearl
I used apoxie sculpit to make her pole, saddle and all the other raised bits. Using a sponge technique I gave her a dappled white look. Then I went over some parts with pink non-oil pastel, so she would have pink dappled parts.
I added glitter and pearls to her body and painted all of the clay work. Her base is 100% made by me with glitter and resin!
Her eyes are all 100% done from scratch *and I am really proud of them* I used acrylic paint pens to make them.
Last she was given her pretty pink chains for her harness and the front and back of her. They are anodized aluminum jump rings. Also all those swirls in her saddle are hand carved and colored using non oil pastels. She has been sealed a few times with mr super clear uv cut, matte finish.
I am going to put up for sale just not sure where to sell her...ebay is a no since It has been giving me nothing but stress lately......If your interested in her note me
*edit* I put her up for sale in my esty shop, here is the link for her>>>[link]

Heeyyy I'm thinking of doing some custom carousel horses too! Is the epoxy rod fragile? Like how would you ship her in a box and keep it from breaking?

Just use wire or a wood chop stick as a *base* so it will not be as fragile. You can then put the epoxy onto the base. You can ship it just make sure you add a lot of padding to protect it. Bubble wrap , tissue paper ect......
