I've always wanted to be one as well, or at least have a few centaur friends. To me, there is no better creature ever concieved in any realm, anywhere! I especially liked how they are portrayed in the Chronicles of Narnia series, as loyal warriors who will sacrifice anything to protect thier beliefs, family, friends, and country; such noble beings they are! That is why centaurs have such a great place in my heart.

Nice and refreshing to see centaurs live (or try to live) in a Twolegger world. And the kid does look like he'd like to be like the big hired hand someday (assuming this isn't HIS land? Maybe the kid's the son of HIS hired hand! We must break through the stereotype of centaurs as slaves! It starts with ME. WRREEEEE!)

Not strange at all. I always wondered what it'd be like to run at 40 mph, roughly the top speed for horses and what I guess would be top speed for centaurs.
