I just recently got seriously flamed for saying stuff like this on a discord server consisting of mostly lgbt people. I’m lgbt myself and I’ve never gotten to much hate, criticism, and mocking thrown my way. It’s honestly sad how the lgbt community treats pride month sometimes.

The basis of their argument was that gay people are constantly beaten and shot and killed and I was like “I understand that but you can’t just turn right around and act like an asshole and call some innocent straight person a fucking retard” and they just kept saying that straight people do all sorts of shit to gay people and I’m like yes??? I understand??? And that mega sucks and I wish straight people would stop but using that as an excuse to treat random straight people like trash isn’t really,,, what the lgbt community stands for,,,?
