Next of the second generation Digimon, we present Yolei Inoue's Digimon partner, Hawkmon. I tell ya, guys, Hawkmon was a pain in the patookey to think of an evolution line for beyond Aquilamon!! O_O I had to brainstorm like crazy just to find and make the right combis so that I could get it. Eventually, I decided to go with Hippogryphomon (or Hippogriffomon, your choice!) for the Ultimate and Gryphonmon for the Mega simply to give Hawkmon something rather amazing to work with as his next steps in evolution.

Besides, I thought it'd be cool if Yolei had a legendary beast like a griffin for a cool ride when Hawkmon becomes Gryphonmon. ^_^
