Centuries ago...an evil dimensional being known as
Anomyalous came to Skylands and wants nothing more than the mass destruction of everything. Ancient elementals decided to create the Perfect Skylander to stop their enemy once and for all. Thus Landeris was born. Landeris knew he had one purpose and his existence was to Vanquish Anomyalous.

As Anomyalous got weaker during the fight so did Landeris because
the power of using all the elements at once is too much for his body to handle. So in a desperate attempt, Landeris went into Anomyalous's body and used all his energy to create a massive explosion.

The battle was over but at a price, Anomyalous was imprisoned in crystal and Landeris was sent into an endless slumber, The Ancient Elementals laid him to rest in a hidden temple then they created passageways full of peril, danger, and puzzles that only the greatest of Skylanders that truly understand its elements can awaken him again.
