At first, Courtney is a fish out of the water but over time she does pull her weight the more she interacts with the crew.

With Cyber X training her for Speed and Agility.

And Tagging Along with Gearshift on certain missions.

Professor Grid felt like a proud mother on how much growth Courtney had So the Professor designed an experimental high-tech combat outfit as Teagan's equalizer for the crew. This Battle suit is Courtney's black full-body skin-tight suit and has the ability to create a graphic-patterned hologram/hard light armor with her mind. Courtney also gets a headpiece called an "e-scope" a wearable, all-purpose computer with various settings of vision including digital vision, heat vision, x-ray vision, and Sniper vision.

Finally all Courtney needed was a code name and name that fits her personality in suit.
Gearshift came up with a few names like Shockwave, and Hyper Light, and jokingly called her Mighty Voltage but after all that Courtney finally agreed to the name Mainframe.
