this is a SEMI-OPEN species. yes, you can make one, go crazy! but some parts, like mutations is only available through customs and adoptable's!! everything else is free!

you can also make ADOPTABLE'S! but do remember that they cannot BREED, which means breedables are a nono.

basic info
Gunge's are commonly 6'', bipedal, and slimy creatures with the ability to shapeshift in appearance and matter (like from liquid to stolid, liquid to gas, gas to plasma, and back to liquid!). They're quite mischievous creatures, using its ability to change shape to scare, or just mess with any intelligent life. despite their reputation, they can be calm and gentle if needed. or heck, domesticated.
they tend to grow very similar bonds with the owner, from the owner's interests to possibly personality and or fashion. because of this, they're very protective of them, and they do enjoy hugging them a lot, treating them like their own child.

history and or similar jazz like that

Gunge's come from curiosity, and a urge of new discoveries. An anonymous explorer found an unmarked ancient ruins beyond human possibilities. Inside a temple was a simple looking scroll. The scroll looked as if it aged, but still usable. it glowed in a yellow aura with a red, incredibly damaged strand of some sort of ribbon. Written on the scroll was a spell, and a recipe to making a type of "slime". The anon took the scroll and took it to his own personal shack, where he made the slime, and used the spell on it. Out came the first ever Gunge! She was nicknamed "Mother", and she took care of the dude for a few days. it was only at night when she discovered what she could do with this "magic". Thus next morning mother was able to fool the anon into using the scroll to create more of her kind. which lead to one, to four, to ten, and so on. returning the original ruins back to the way it was. populated and full of cute goo critters

"Creation"

Gunge's lack any sexual organs, so in order for more to be made, they're created the ye old way. any liquid plus an unamed flower. The flower both helps with the magic, and the comparability with the liquid. if it blooms then its comparable and ready to be mixed. if its not, then the flower doesn't bloom and it quickly rots. give it a few days for the mixture to stiffen up. and cast the spell on the jell! simple as that, really.

Gunge's can range from 2'' tall all the way to 15''. the smaller and larger they get, the more rare they get.

Gunge's are nor carnivore, omnivore, or herbivore. they can eat anything.
yes, that includes your car keys.

A Gunge cannot be created with oil from the oil spill, radioactive waste, polluted water, or things similar. thought its possible for one to glow green, and not have to suffer from the effects of radioactivity.

A Gunge must at lest be 50% slime! beyond that would be considered a Mutation

Gunges can also have goo hair, if you want hair! <:
