I think with this one I'll start doing dedications. And what better way to start than with a Double Dedication! I dedicate this picture to Jim Jinkins and Jim Lee.
Jim Jinkins created the animated series Doug. Doug was one of the first cartoons I ever saw (being born just a few months before it aired). I grew up watching it and it remains one of my all time favorites. Thank you Jim for creating such a great show.
Jim Lee is one of today's best comic book artists. He's done excellent work with Batman and many other characters. Thank you Jim for drawing so many great pictures.
The picture above is Quailman (Doug's alter ego) in a pose based on Jim Lee's famous cover to Superman 204. The picture is so famous that if you look up Superman on Wikipedia, that's the image you see. The idea just hit me on Friday and I had to do it.
