    WAZZUP PARTY PEOPLE!!!

    *…cricket, cricket…*

I know, I missed you too!! Now then, I believe I have some explaining to do. In my last poorly edited chapter, I promised that this would take less than three months to make, and I don’t take a promise like that lightly!! Now let me just check my calendar……………….

Well shit. Okay me, use excuse attack!! Between this chapter and the last I had to deal with moving to a new state and a new school and blah blah blah. It’s not very effective!! I am sorry this took so long though, so I’ll stop talking and get right into the action. No lean in this time since it was supposed to be the same chapter, so for the skinny read last installment!!

“Lady Hokage, if you would be so kind?”

    “Hmph! It’d be my pleasure...!”

The Hokage made a mad dash out of the small clump of trees and bushes and charged at the bear’s back, like a bull seeing red, until she was right on top of him. “Damn bastard!!!” Tsunade shouted as she propelled her fist at the speed of a rocket at the grey coarse-haired monstrosity.

However nothing had changed as Kitaguma twisted around backward and blocked her blow with his thick, muscly forearm and launched his other fist for a direct collision with her torso.

Just as it was about to connect and send her flying, Tsunade side-stepped at the last second and grabbed the bear’s arm with a grip strong enough to put finger-shaped dents in steel. Not relinquishing her grasp on the creature, Tsunade heaved with all her strength until Kitaguma began to feel the earth disconnect from his large rounded feet as he was lifted off of the ground and began being swung round and round like he was in the less favorable position of a two-person Olympic hammer throw!

Soon the view of the Hokage was completely obstructed by a huge blue-grey blur of flying fur and kicked up dust and ash from the earlier explosion. If one was to look at the scene from above it would look appear as a yellow dot surrounded by a vibrating ashen colored circle; like the world’s biggest and most violent centrifuge!!

Reaching incredible speeds and nearly being shredded to bits by the immense G-forces, it was a wonder either of them managed to not throw up or have a limb ripped off, but somehow Tsunade held on to that demonic fucker until she felt her iron-like grip begin to loosen. Without much time, it was now or never!!!

‘I pray this works…’ she thought while she extended her right leg and held it there to support the huge endeavor of launching the monster forward like a human catapult. And thanks to all the spinning, Kitaguma flew at a nearly impossible velocity for something of his size…directly toward the group of ninja huddled in the small withering grove!!

“Choji!!” Shikamaru ordered his chubby teammate. “On it! Expansion jutsu: Both Arms!!” The young man used his clan technique to increase the mass of both of his upper limbs to make them extremely large, roughly fifteen or so times bigger, with his hands now resembling the twin giant Ping-Pong paddles.

As the evil bear demon came flying at them like a homing missile, the young Akimichi raised both of his super-sized arms in a wide swinging arc to either side of his comparably minuscule body. From his stance, it was more or less obvious what he was about to do, even to Kitaguma, but he was unable to dodge while in mid-air.

    *WHAAAAMMMM!!!!!!*

Like a game of malevolent deity catch, Tsunade had tossed the Northern Bear to Choji who caught him between his sizable meaty mitts by slamming his enlarged hands together with a loud smack as the brutish devil was captured within the net of his massive fingers. Unfortunately, Choji could already feel him thrashing around like the most pissed off fish to ever be ripped from the ocean

Before he could give him the chance to escape, the big-boned ninja rearranged the position of his hands so that Kitaguma was released into a short free fall as his mammoth weight speed up his plummet toward mother earth.

His slow-paced mind began to contemplate the various ways he’d kill those ninja below him. The various images of methods to shed, rip, crush, flay, and embalm humans taught to him by his brother Hokkami flashed past his eyes in the brief moments of decent. He’d make sure to use every one he could on these pathetic humans as a memorial to his deceased sibling before trampling their village to dust!!!

His dreams of splattered bloodshed and squishing humans into gory red messes were cut short as a large shadow was cast over him, and before he could realize what was going on, the bear was hit strongly in his back from above and he hit the ground much faster than he anticipated.

What happened was that when Choji released him, he was simply un-netting his fingers to put his left massive palm on top of his right to complete, what historians agreed was one of the most epic bitch-slaps in history, as clouds of dust and air born frost billowed from the landing sight of the monster that was temporarily pinned under the Akimichi’s surprisingly heavy hands.

While Kitaguma was able to throw the titanic frog, Gamabunta, that was partially because he had a decent footing in which to pick up the hundreds of tons of toad. Pinned on his belly with his long arms and short legs also being held down, it was difficult to move around. Let alone free himself.

But that sure as hell didn’t stop him from trying. The violent thrashing was akin to a large tuna thrown onto the deck of a fisherman’s boat attempting to return to the ocean it had been drenched up from and the shockwaves created several small earthquakes around the area.

“I don’t know how much longer I can hold him, if you guys have a plan I’d sure like to hear what phase two is!!” Choji gritted through his teeth as he kept the demonic bear immobile under his increasingly tired hands.

Shikamaru leapt out from the hiding place of the other ninja were hiding and prepared to activate the second part of his plan. “Hang on buddy, Shadow Stitching Jutsu!” Several dark shadows leaped from the ground like dozens of black vipers striking at once at the restrained Kitaguma, impaling the demon deeply in all four of his cumbersome limbs until he was brought to his knees.

Immediately Kakashi used an Earth-Release technique that made several blockish pillars clasp his arms together next to his tightly leashed head. The thrashing shook the earth around them violently.  “Eight inner Gates, Fifth Gate: GATE OF LIMIT!!” Gai followed by jumping in the air right over the enemy’s head. He cocked his fists unleashed his powerful ‘Morning Peacock’ technique. The large-eye browed jonin punched the beast so fast that his fists were set ablaze by sheer speed and friction!

Following his relentless series of jabs, Anko blasted a stream of fire from her thin, chapped lips. The blaze seared a hole the size of a dinner plate through his husky shoulder and nearly severed his right arm!!

And for the finishing move, Kakashi ran right up to the Northern Bear Kitaguma, both his hands channeling powerful electric currents to make the chidori, and stabbed that fat demonic some of bitch straight through his chest; where his heart would be specifically, just above the still unconscious Patrick’s head.

The final result was that his entire back was covered in deep grooves like his had been pelted hundreds of times with giant baseballs. His right arm was hanging by a tread of ice-flesh and his heart had been impaled and blown to bits by thousands of volts of condensed electricity!

Kitaguma’s hulking mass crumpled to the ground in a heap of grey fur and dead flesh, his pulverized body hit the earth with loud ‘thud’ and kicked up a plume of dust around the fallen remains of the stone stockades Kakashi created.

Looks like the Hokage’s office was gonna get a new bear-skin rug!!!

Taking that much power head on was enough to kill even a kage, so even this super powerful demon jack-off would be completely destroyed!! Now all that was left to do was extract Patrick from the-

“Well done. Well done indeed, pathetic humans. That actually hurt, I’m truly impressed…” A dark calm voice echoed from the ruble of shattered flagstone. The sinister growl silencing the party of ninja and sent a deep, cold chill now each of their spines. They stopped dead in their tracks toward the crash site. Every living thing, even the wind itself, had gone silent. So silent that the leaf ninja could swear that they could hear the blood rushing through their chilled veins, the beating of their hearts either beating to point of bursting so slow they came dangerously close to stopping.

“Wha…What in the hell…” Tsunade, who had walked ahead of everyone else, was stricken with a sudden wave of vicious and primal killing intent that knocked the air from her and the other’s lungs. The children were immediately brought to their knees and the adults weren’t far behind them.

Out from the smoke rose a figure. A nightmarish monster of hatred and disgust. The shape of a large forest animal penetrated the sooty air and made its way toward the crowd. His figure only growing larger the closer he lumbered.

It can’t be… it shouldn’t be… IT’S IMPOSSBILE!!! The bear demon of prophecy, the true demon ruler of the tundra had appeared. The real Northern Bear Kitaguma, demon of the deathly omen, has shown his face.

The dust settled quickly around the parasitic demon and everyone was amazed that he was actually able to stand. The attacked had, in fact, inflicted massive damage to the beast. Gaping holes bigger than Choji’s father’s waistline and gashes that left his limbs hanging by a hair’s thread covered his entire body.

The most impactful part his appearance however, was that some of the openings in his flesh were close enough to Patrick’s unconscious body that they was almost exposed. Some parts of the child actually free from Kitaguma’s huge body . The keen eye of Negi’s byakugan, who left his active unconsciously, even noticed a slight wiggle the pinky finger and a tiny twitch of the ankle. Nothing significant or noticeable, even if you were right next to him, but it was just barely picked up thanks to the young Hyuga’s specialized vision.

However the tiny twinges of movements were short lived as his exposed parts were immediately re-enveloped in a thick coating of ice-flesh.

The mass of living frozen water surged from the cracks and holes until Kitaguma was restored to full battle condition. Fresh ashen fur growing over the repaired fractures. The demon took in a deep breath of the cool midnight air into his barreled chest, and released it ever so slowly through his large pointed teeth as a thick haze that seeped lazily from his jaws and toward the hardened earth. And then he spoke.

“I applauded the use of your strategy, it was well timed and perfectly executed. On a lower level enemy, it would be your complete and utter victory... however…”

He stepped out the crater and towered before the surrounding Leaf warriors, his predatory presence sending yet another chill that shook their whole bodies, not just because of the lowered temperature but because of the powerful dark aura that surrounded Kitaguma. A killing intent surged into the air that sucked the air from their lungs. The pressure it exerted made it feel as if the gravity in area had been increased exponentially, the weight of his stare bearing down on their shoulders.

“I am more powerful than you can possibly imagine.”

How could this have happened?!! From the amount of force the ninja used, Kitaguma the Northern Bear should have been Kitaguma the Road Kill Bear! That fact that he was still kicking was in complete defiance of all logic and reason.

But he was standing and all that meant was that he needed to get knocked down again as many times as it took before he STAYED down. The question was how many times it would take.

“Now…”  The spiritual pressure Kitaguma radiated doubled while he slid his left stumpy foot into a defensive fighting stance that brought about a sense of absolute fear. The intense murderous intent swirled around the demonic entity before slowly receding back into the icy monster.

What followed was the loudest silence any of the ninja had ever heard, not the wind even the earth dared to breathe as Kitaguma stood hunched over his own feet. Suddenly he stood erect once again for the giant ice demon broke the deafening silence.

“I shall take my leave…”

Out of nowhere Kitaguma righted his footing and began to slowly trudge through the chilly air away from armed forces of Kohona toward the remaining forest.

“…………..WHAAAT?!!!!!” The entire group shouted angrily in unison. Did that giant fat-ass demon just walk away in middle of their fight??

Naruto stood there dumbfounded as he saw the now apparently articulate behemoth begin to sander off toward the mountains, completely ignoring the fact that the ninja squad was (more or less) ready for battle!!

“H-HEY!! WHERE THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING?!!!” Tsunade shouted at the top of her lungs.

Kitaguma stopped to briefly glance over his shoulder at Tsunade and her subordinates. For a moment he simply gazed at them with eyes of unfeeling obsidian judgment. His cold glare felt as if it were piercing each of their souls with a dagger that was so cold it was white-hot.

Finally, the ice demon broke the stony stiffness of his posture by slowly turning around and raising his right arm. The grey hairy limb hung parallel to the ground beneath their feet, pointing his arm directly at them for what felt like hours, but was only about a minute. The nubs on his paws bent and curved until his thumb and index numb made an ‘O’ shape.

Suddenly, as soon as he flicked the air in front of him, Tsunade was sent flying furiously off her feet for over a hundred yards before smashing into large boulder Patrick had ripped from the ground earlier. A thick trail of fresh blood splattered all the way from where she had been standing a moment earlier to the crumpled heap she was now.

The Leaf ninja looked on in shock and horror as their leader had been pierced with some sort of faster than sound weapon, as the sound waves from the projectile just now reached them a moment later like a delayed gunshot. Ino, Sakura, and Shizune ran after her shouting, following the thinly splattered bloody path strait to her.

Looking back at the bear demon, they noticed that the claw on his index finger was missing, and any idiot could put two and two together to assume what the Hokage was hot with so hard that she was sent flying…

“I have no patience for cattle who can comprehend of nothing larger than themselves.” Kitaguma spat under his breath as he lowered his arm. “You humans have no concept of the importance of the key. It must be sealed, lest existence itself come to an end.”

“What key?! What the hell are you talking about?!!” Naruto shouted back the demon, pissed at him not only for what he just did to Tsunade, but for not even making any sense or giving a reason for doing it in the first place!!

“The key…must be sealed…”

“And what the key you keep talking about, MAKE SENSE DAMNIT!!!”

“… I believe you knew him as………. Patrick Aisumasuta.”

What? What did Patrick have to do with the end of existence? And more importantly, there was something the bear demon knew about his host, and Naruto was gonna get it out of that fat-ass if he had to rip it out of him with rest of Patrick!!

“I have had enough of this,” Kitaguma said as he raised both his arms and prepared to shoot more of his claws at the young ninja, “I shall attempt to make your deaths swi-”

*FFFFFWWWWUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHH!!!!*

Without warning, a humongous vortex of flames engulfed Kitaguma and the area several feet around him. From behind the inferno, a whitish-grey and red blur leapt around blazing red fire. The figure cast a large, pointy shadow over the group as the smell of flaming oil and burnt swamp assaulted the nighttime air. Oh God don’t tell me…

“OOOOOHHH YEEEEEEAAH!!! THE GREAT TOAD SAGE JIRIYAAAA HAS ARRRIVVVED!!!”

Yeah, it was him…

Jiriya of the legendary three sannin, toad sage of Mount Myoboku, and godfather of Naruto. The old perverted hermit stepped closer to the group of ninja, allowing them to take in his strange appearance.

His once normal sized nose had become much more bulbous and bumpy, like a tiny gourd had replaced it. Also the area between and around his eyes had turned a deep crimson red, somewhat resembling a scarlet version of a raccoon’s mask. And along with his him were two smaller frogs in human clothing riding on his shoulders!

In his new strange appearance he stopped walking and stood in all his self-important glory. Jiriya was feeling rather smug considering he had just swooped in and saved the day from the rampaging demon by spitting several dozen barrels-worth of lite toad oil on Kitaguma.

“Hey, somebody order some piping-hot backup?!!”, he laughed hardily to his own…‘joke’?

Finally making to over to the devastated group of shinobi, he continued to explain his sudden appearance.

“Well I head from some ANBU that you guys bit off more than you could chew with this exorcism, so I rushed over. Didn’t think you’d be this desperate though…”

“Hey, whose says were desperate?!!” replied Naruto hotly, pissed that his lazy, drunken, perv of a teacher was talking down to them just because he got a lucky shot it.

“I do. And I wouldn’t be wrong either kid. You guys are seriously worn out and if that old hag wasn’t a healing monster, she’d be dead right now. For now we’ll hold off on the ‘Whose More Awesome’ debate that I was clearly dominating. Kakashi, Gai, Asuma, Anko, front and center.”

The aforementioned ninja walked to the front of the group, which without them was just a group of women and children. “Okay Asuma, you and me distract the overfed teddy bear over there and try to give Gai, Kakashi and Anko a large enough opening to deliver a big enough blow to push it past its regeneration factor.”

Then he looked over the beaten kids, the wounded-but-healing Tsunade, and three other pretty young women that made up the rest of the demon containment squad and sighed deeply. “All of you stay back.” He looked specify at Kurenai and since he wasn’t eye-raping her, she knew he meant business. “Take the kids back to the village and get Tsunade to the hospital. It’s too dangerous.”

The younger shinobi looked shocked, but Kurenai wasn’t as surprised. This demon was much more deadly than the Hokkami. His stupidity apparently being a façade to a much grander plan which they didn’t know about, and the adults weren’t willing to risk the children over what that plan was.

“I cannot allow this…” The earth shook for a moment before a thick wave of cold wind washed over the clearing as a giant wall of demonic-energy infused ice encircled the glade and cast flicking black shadows that danced across the ground and sky like flicking flames.

“You… you ALL know too much… none of you leave… alive…”

The dark energy that Kitaguma’s eyes were made of exploded with raw power as he prepared his charge.

“The six…must not gather.…” He began to mumble to himself, almost as if he were praying.

And why the hell was this idiot speaking in weird short sentences that sounded like he was ripping them off a crappy RPG?!!

Tsunade, who was most of the way healed at this point, decided to interject. “So basically, you’re saying that if we do save Patrick, he’s going to destroy the world and end reality as we know it. And so we’re supposed to take YOUR word and let a DEMON have him so you can raise an army of monsters to take over the world?”

The bear remained silent, which told her she had pretty much hit the nail on the head. She walked slowly toward the demon, a thick killing intent emanating from every part of her body.

“Here’s a tip asshole. Next time you give a person a choice……”

The earth around Kitaguma’s thick feet-paws cracked slightly before Kakashi and Guy leapt from bellow the ground to pull him in a two-person full nelson before flipping him over and pinning him on his back. Shit, when did they leave his sight?! Wait they’re still there right? Dammit all! Clones!!

He could easily break free from this weak human restraint, but not before he saw the Hokage running at full charge with Anko’s personal oversized katana in hand out of the corner of his eye.
“DON’T MAKE BOTH CHOICES A PILE OF SHIT!!!!!”

*SSSHHHHLLAAAAASSHHHHH!! THWAK!! THWAK!! THWAK!!!!*

Before he could react, Kitaguma’s front was slice wide open by the long sword clear though to his core. And as she was in the middle of making bear sashimi, Anko, who was stealthily running behind her the entire time, reached deep within the demon’s innards and wretched out Patrick’s tendril-encased body.

The sensation was disgusting to say the least, like pulling a corpse out of a dank pit of cold, slimy, dead snakes. However she quickly got over it and yanked with even more force with Asuma, Kuranai, and all of their students pulling as hard as they could to free the entangled host from his tormentor.

Unfortunately it was around the time the others began to tug violently on his icy intestines, Kitaguma reeled in pain and throw Kakashi and Gai off of himself. He then grabbed a handful of his own guts and yanked for all he had. While Patrick wasn’t in his body, as long as the ether cables were still attached nothing else mattered, though he was nevertheless weakened severely.

Though Patrick’s body was made to be tough, almost to the point of invulnerability, but even he couldn’t withstand the pressure being exerted on him by Kitaguma and his friends via the cables. Though he was beginning to slip back into consciousness, he only seemed to be able to react to his surrounding for the moment. And with his luck it was a cocoon of demon entrails... Lovely.

“Why do you fight?! Do you WANT end life as we know it!!?” The bear shouted at the top of his lungs, both enraged that he had been so careless as to allow these humans to land a killer blow on him, and confused as to why they refused to listen to him!!

“Why shouldn’t we?! All you’ve done is spout a bunch crap about saving the world, and all you DID is condemn an innocent child to death!!” A look of pure fury filled Tsuande’s eyes to the brim, her expression was so frightening that it sent a chill up the ice demon’s exposed spine.

“What makes you think I’ll forgive you…”

His grip never loosed, but his face, which was contorted in pure anger, softened to a stony glare at the slug princess as they both continued their tug-o-cold war.

“You…all of you…what is the key to you?” Kitaguma’s glare grew stronger toward the Hokage and the ninja behind her, piecing them to the bone, waiting for their answer. Without thinking or hesitation, Naruto answered.

“He’s a person. A person who deserves a God damned chance!! But most importantly… HE’S MY FRIEND, AND I’LL BE DAMNED IF I LET YOU KILL HIM!!!”

Kitaguma shouted right back at them, “AND WHY DO YOU FIGHT?!!!”

Tsunade took the initiative on this one, being at the front of the line. “FOR THE FREEDOM OF ALL PEOPLE OF ALL LANDS!! TO PROTECT THE LIGHT WE ALL HOLD DEAR!! AND TO DEFEND THIS WORLD TO OUR LAST BREATHS!!!”

The bear demon was shocked to his very core. Her words rang though the air like a gong, and their faces told him that they all meant no different. ‘At last…’ Kitaguma thought, closing his eyes as a small smirk slowly curled on the ends of his joules.

The smiling demon followed by making a large seriated machete of frost and held it high over his head preparing the blow with all the force left in his artificial body. The leaf ninja panicked, but were powerless to stop him as the demon started his arcing strike.

“THE KEY MUST NOT BE TAKEN…!!”

*SHTHWAK!!-THWAAK-THWAAaaaaak-thwaaaaaaak…….*

For a moment nobody understood what had happened. The tension that had kept the cocooned host suspended between the two forced suddenly gave, and a large mass collapsed on a pile of overworked ninja. The machete lodged halfway between where Kitaguma was and Patrick’s body had been.

“…which is why… I entrust it to you…”

Shoving the mass of tangled ether cables off of herself and her teammates, Tsunade found they contained the cold, corpse-like body of Patrick within them. Before she or anyone could understand what was happening, Kitaguma in all his giant, demonic glory collapsed into a wheezing heap of trembling flesh and shaky breaths.

As they all got up and approached the convulsing hulk of his remains, Kitaguma’s head turned slowly and weakly to the group headed by the Hokage. His artificial body was disconnected from its power source, began to deteriorate quickly. The only thing she could think about, the one question that was on all of there’re minds was ‘Why?’. After all of the crap the demons went through to get this far, after all of the SHIT the Leaf ninja had to deal with… WHY DID HE SUDDENLY DECIDE KILL HIMSELF?!!!

“Gehehehehe *cough!* *cough!!* “It would appear…I was not strong enough...” Kitaguma hacked out, his voice somehow even more raspy than before. The Hokage, spear-heading the rest of the group, looked down upon the now helpless demon. A wild mixture of feelings filled her at that moment. Rage and relief slamming together like two tidal waves of emotion. She didn’t know whether to kick him in the teeth or, for the love of god, thank that monster!! The only thing she did know for certain was that she wanted some-

“Answers?” the bear demon finished her though for her. “For 300 years I have guarded the stone. And for the last 3 years I have witnessed, though the key’s eyes, the worst of humanity. I believed that Hokkami’s answer was the correct one, that all humans were violent, mindless cattle. And he was right, but also wrong. There is so much evil in this world…” His grey milky eyes drifted up toward the Leaf ninja, and cracked a tiny smile under his constant wheezing for air. “But you have shown me…that there is hope.” His eyes drifted down again, “I tried to use Hokkami to change fate, to change the future I saw. But now I realize, neither he nor I are strong enough to stop the coming storm…but THE KEY is.” His left arm rose slowly, pointing at the cocoon only to fall back onto his chest.

“You must raise him. Train him.” His glare softened for the first and final time to an expression that spoke more than words possibly could. *cough* “And most importantly *cough!*…heal him.” His last words slid from his lips before his scowl and glare reformed on his snout.

“Humans, heed this warning well, for the actions you take afterward shall decide the fate of your world.” He began, his breaths growing shorter with each inhale. What followed was the final prophecy which Kitaguma first saw over 300 years ago and set all the events into motion. The Iron/Blizzard War, the Frozen Slaughter, Hokkami’s demon army plan, everything. A prophecy of biblical proportions. A prophecy that would forever change the destiny of the world as everyone knew it.

*cough!* *COUGH!!* “…..On the third day of sixth week of the festival of the Magi, the twelve justices shall illuminate the path the Chamber of Harmony. The beginning and ending of existence as you know it. *COUGH!!* The great six shall gather, and will bring about the end of days. Rivers shall run red with blood, nature will be thrown into chaos, and the sun and stars shall be extinguished and the sky will enter unto eternal darkness. *WHEEEEEZE!!* A wave of death will cleanse the lands, and all life will succumb to the power....”

“This will be your final warning…….. Beware of the false prophet, for he is the bringer of death and destruction… unto… your… woooorrrlldd…!!”

His last words were closely followed a dark shadowy wisp of condensed evil that was his soul surged from his jaws. The essence of Kitaguma’s consciousness floated up toward the murky sky before forming a pitch-black ball that collapsed in on itself almost immediately. Tiny cracks spread over its surface and imploded for a brief moment before finally bursting in a tiny explosion. Dark grey dust falling from the sky as it showered over the forest before burning up in the atmosphere.

When everyone looked back down Kitaguma’s body had melted and evaporated without them noticing, along with the ether cables around Patrick’s body. All that remained was the slightly mangled, semiconscious, and half-frozen body of the former demon host. Blinking, he slowly returned to the world of the living.

Sitting the delirious boy up, he quickly shook the wooziness off and looked up at everyone’s battered bodies and bloody smiles. The group feeling a flood of relief wash over themselves after seeing him open his eyes for the first time, 100% demon free.

The ivory haired boy curled his trembling fingers in and out, testing if he could move them. With his still shaking hands, Patrick clutched head firmly and listened. He scrubbed brain for the monsters, hell he screamed and shouted as loud as he mentally could! Cussing out both demons in his native tongue so harshly it almost startled him.

But…nothing…no one invading his thoughts, no one whispering in his ear, no one cackling at his mistakes, no one taunting the death of his friends and loved ones…

“I’m…free…?” the young Aisumasuta barely managed to whimpered out, the expected tears already forming. “…finally…” He clenched his fists firmly and shot them up in the air and looked up at the sky before shouting,

“I’M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!”

And so he was, for the moment at least. Unfortunately, it would be a short lived freedom. For a dark shadow loomed over them that night, an ancient power beyond reckoning that awaited a final confrontation. And it would strike far sooner than even the great demon of prophecy anticipated. The final battle for true freedom dawns at midnight!!

But freedom comes at a high price…what would you pay for it?

Great work! A fitting conclusion to a crazy, gory ass battle. And even with it over, you did a nice job with foreshadowing what is over the horizon for Patrick. I'm just glad to see him in charge of his own path. Awesome work again man!
