This is a re-drawing of an original which was stolen from me at work. When I drew the original, I was just drawing a woman with a spider bottom half. Maddy came along and asked who it was, and I replied "Just a half lady, half spider". She liked it a lot and wanted me to make it her, so I drew her shirt on the spider/woman. Previously it was a shirt she had from school, but in the re-drawing, I drew the shirt she wore at the time.

Oh MAN! I HATE it when people steal my drawings!
I had that happen back in Jr high (ugh self-humiliation coming up) when I was trying to draw all 150 of the original pokemon. I had gotten over halfway finished and left them in my gym locker briefly. When I came back they were gone and I never got them back.
Oh well, life goes on.

this is totally late, but it made me think... what kind of person, what sort of mindset of a person would drive someone to steal a _drawing_?
I've had friends who thieved, did drugs, did all sorts of things considered wrong and bad, however I've NEVER known an art thief.

I really don't know. You'd think that the only art worth stealing is the stuff that everyone's heard of.
