What if Japanese video games were actually American cartoons who moved to Japan to perform in them(similar to Chip N' Dale: Rescue Rangers(2022))?

This is a title called Video Games Don't Dance.

Of course you're familiar with the Super Mario & Pokémon characters (and Godzilla himself except it's not actually Godzilla, his name is Zel and he'll be filling in for Max). In this universe, the animals are replaced with cartoon characters (courtesy to Who Framed Roger Rabbit) and it takes place in Kyoto, Japan.

Danny Cat - Mario (Super Mario)
Sawyer Cat - Princess Peach (Super Mario)
Peabo "Pudge" Pudgemeyer - Toad (Super Mario)
Tillie Hippo - Princess Daisy (Super Mario)
Cranston Goat - Waluigi (Super Mario)
Frances Albacore - Princess Rosalina (Super Mario)
T.W. Turtle - Luigi (Super Mario)
Woolie Mammoth - Professor Sycamore (Pokémon)

For the humans, I've used expies of real world Japanese creators:
Darla Dimple - Aiko Kabuto (Reiko Muto, as a teenager)
Flanigan - Akira Kurosawa (himself under a case of Adam Westing)
L.B. Mammoth - Daiki Kiyoshi (Ichizo Kobayashi)
