Here's a drawing of Furret and Noivern hanging out. Β Silly Furret, you're not a bat. (Funny thing with this drawing is that I actually drew it right side up and just flipped it when I was done.
)Ya know, I was really happy with this one until I looked up a picture of Noivern to see where the colors go and I saw some much better fan art of him which just made me not like this drawing as much.
Β I do this to myself every goddamn time I draw something.

Despite the incorrect coloring on Noivern, I could easily mistake this for a still from the anime. (Remember all those "traveling to the next gym" episodes, where Ash and his friends let their PokΓ©mon out for a roadside picnic? Your picture could pass for a close-up from the last few seasons.)
You have mastered the illusion of 3D and imitated Ken Sugimori's style extremely well. In addition, you captured the kind of cute moment that people expect from animal cartoons -- with an original pair of PokΓ©mon in a novel situation. The title suggests that Noivern and Furret are old friends, enjoying some (ahem!) down time between battles. Overall, this work is well thought-out and funny at the same time; I hope to see more like this.

What do you mean by incorrect coloring on Noivern? Did i color something wrong?

Another user said they spotted a coloring error, although it's probably a small one; I checked againstΒ Noivern's drawing on Bulbapedia, but nothing stood out as seriously wrong.
