What about the Eurasian brown bear(Ursus arctos), sloth bear(Melursus ursinus), the giant panda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca), and the smallest of all extant bears, the sun bear(Helarctos malayanus)?? I know this featured the Kodiak Grizzly(Ursus horribilis middendorfi) rivaling the similar sized polar bear(Ursus maritimus).

Grizzly bear subspecies of brown bears, usually ranging in weight from 363 to 544 kg. Kodiak bear it is the largest recognized subspecies of brown bear, and one of the two largest bears alive today, the other being the polar bear.
