I'm sorry these are not frogs..
JK I AM NOT SORRY!! HAHA I FOOLED YOU!!
I felt like making some reptile chars, and a lizardy looking amphibian, for fun. I just get this feeling that there aren't enough of them. PLUD reptiles have a bad rep and often end up being the bad guys ((Rats too!! RATS ARE NICE. CUDDLY BABIES!)). These reptiles aren't bad guys... but they're not always great either BUT SERIOUSLY I never make characters I would consider black and white; people fall in moral grey areas anyways. ROIGHT SO THEN, they're inspired roughly by the reptiles/amphibians I have read about, or, just, love a lot. idk

Reptiles are normally territorial so most of these guys get in turf wars or get caught in the crossfire.

On the left, African Dwarf Crocodile with leucism. She's quite stoic, and rather slow moving. she isn't scared very easily, as it is her belief that she's the scary one. She's the most calculating and thoughtful of the three. Taking her time to examine, prepare, and strike at exactly the right moment. Tends to watch others and clue into patterns of behavior. She also appears to be ruthless, HOWEVER, her weakness is cute small things, anything that cries or whines, any sort of baby animal... she will protect it ferociously. In fact, she was floating down a river searching for something to eat when she swam right into the Tiger Salamander, whom she immediately scooped into her mouth. She will impulsively carry things she wants to protect in her mouth, but if she thinks about it, will instead just stick them in her backpack. Yes, she is a ruthless defender of her property and a dangerous offence.. but all you have to do is act pathetic, and she naturally wants to take care of you. BUT NOT IN A CUDDLY OR AN AFFECTIONATE WAY, affection confuses her, but she's curious and has been known to be quite tolerant if others give HER a hug. SOMETIMES. THEN OTHER TIMES SHE SHOVES YOU AWAY.

Middle, what could totally pass as a blue tongue skink is actually based on a Tegu. He is the most active and curious of the three. Though he easily feels threatened and is quite suspicious, IF you get to know him, he is very friendly and affectionate. He makes other reptiles (COUGH THE CROCODILE COUGH) very awkward when he snuggles against them, sometimes he does this just to confuse them so that he can get their food. To those he likes, he is very loyal. Also he is quite black and white in his views and if you were to do something when first meeting him that he decided was uncool, IT WOULD BE VERY difficult to gain his trust. He carries around the Tiger Salamander's ammunition for her little guns because he thinks she's funny.

Practices both mindfullness and mindlessness, will sometimes be seen floating in a puddle staring into space, or very purposefully eating a new food and paying close attention to the colours and shapes. IT can be hard to tell whether she is paying attention or not, and likely its fully one or the other. is most likely to get angry, and worries about controlling her temper. She was lost floating a river after she discovered that some other reptiles and taken over the pond where she and many other Salamanders had grown up. Most salamaders do not practice territory wars, but she took it personally for some unknown reason and she started brooding. When she first met the Croc, she was quite unhappy with being treated like a baby, but she had no where she wanted to go, so she rode in the cool dark back pack. She watched many fights from the backpack, and learned a lot from the croc's behavior, they became friends eventually... and SALAMANDER STARTED CONCOCTING A PLAN TO TAKE BACK HER FAMILY'S POND. She's not threatening whatsoever and is built more to be a sweet person who hands out cookies or whatevs. she is trying her own style of being tough which comes across mostly as funny. v moody salamander, v all-or-nothing, not normally making battle plans. y'know.. OH she uses her hood mostly during the day, to keep the sun off, she will often dunk it in water to wear on her head so she feel dried out.
