This is an adult male Green Iguana I caught while I was exploring the park. I measured him at 4 ft:10 in long and weighed more than 10 lbs. It wasn't until I looked at him more closely and I realized why it was so easy to catch him. This Iguana is blind in his left eye. An indent in his scales above and below the eye shows a scar that cut across his eye. And it isn't the only scar. All over his body, he has over 30 battle scars. Some of them look pretty recent and yet he survived it all. Either he's a tough combatant or extremely lucky. After which I let him go.
