Description
Day 2, bit of a late post, but here is another DC villain added to the revised universe. This time its the Wonder Woman villainess, the feral Cheetah. What to say, really? I tried to make her look as much as a human/cheetah hybrid as possible from the legs resembling more like a cheetah than human to the cat like face. I was going to tag it as mature, but I figure the picture is not really too suggestive. Also this is probably my first attempt at using the light filter instead of just attempting at shading.

Hello there!
This piece caught my eye because I really like the pose and the background, very action packed right off the bat. The design is also an interesting take on the character, but personally I would've added something to cover her lower area as well
Moving on to some critique of the body, I would like to say that the pose is very advanced, with perspectives that definitely complicate the anatomy.
I think the biggest issue is her right hand. Try putting your hand in that same position. I did, and the first thing I noticed is that the palm should be more round, with the fingers positioned almost in a half circle, instead of the straight line. I would also suggest changing the line connecting the thumb to the palm of the hand. It should look like ( instead of folding back down to the wrist. I also think the top segments of the fingers should be enlarged, with the middle segments partially visible behind them. The perspective also implies that the claws would be elongated in comparison to the other hand, but you actually drew them significantly smaller. Moving to her left hand, the anatomy is much more sound, but I think the middle and ring finger claw should allow the finger segment to be visible around them, like the pointer finger. I also think the hand itself should be elongated, as it currently looks squished. I would also suggest defining the wrist better. This problem is also present in the right hand, as the wrist doesn't exist at all. The position of the arm actually implies a hand that would be open and flat towards the viewer, like a high five.
Moving on to the legs, the left leg is bent too much considering how muscular the character is. The ankle would be further below the thigh, and I also suggest the bottom of the thigh curve down towards the groin instead of back up.
The right leg is very well executed, but the foot is not. I would suggest looking up both cat feet and women on tip toes, as they're similar enough to both work as references here. The foot looks bulbous, rounded, while both human and cat feet do not look like that. I would also suggest that you have 4 toes on the feet as that's what real cheetahs have, and it would match the four fingers.
The butt of the character would also not be visible at this angle of the drawing, and by fixing that you would probably need to place the tail differently.
The final thing to address anatomy wise is the face. It has very good symmetry, but the head shape isn't very appealing I would suggest incorporating the fur directly into the face, as currently the silhouette of the head looks like a stereotypical alien head. Speaking of fur, the placement of it in this piece is unusual, and I'm not sure shy you chose the places you did. Most artists do tufts on the joints, and while that is also rudimentary it does follow the natural flow of real life fur. I would suggest using that as a starting point, and experiment with fur placement as you go along. I would definitely put fur along the tail though.
My last major gripe with this piece is the spots, because they don't look like real cheetah patterns, and look very unappealing. I would suggest looking at references for a guide. But the biggest difference is that they have stripes at the tips of their tails, and the spots are much more concentrated and numerous.
Overall this is a pretty solid piece, and you show a lot of potential for your future works!

Thanks for the criticism! I agree with you in regards to some of the anatomy and fur could use a bit of work. Really would take your points to heart the next time I attempt this character in the future.

You're welcome, I'm glad I could help!
I would also like to ask you a favor, would I be able to use your art in a video I would like to make about critiquing art? I'm not sure if you're familiar with them, but a couple years ago a trend of DeviantArt critiquing videos were popular on YouTube, and I'd like to do something like that, but with more fast paced editing and focus on specific critiques
If you're interested, awesome! Let me know if you'd like credit shown or if you'd prefer to stay anonymous, and any other specifications for using your work.
If you're not interested no worries, I wish you the best of luck on your art in the future!
