I think I understood :
First, it's not overly sexy, you kept some retenue on it, the final design is quite harmonious.
Second, her look. She's not the sexy kawai girl you can see everywhere on DeviantArt, she's looking at you confidently, with no reply interest, she's got that "something strong" I was talking about.
That convinced me of seeing the anime, and these qualities are in it too, so a great thanks to you ! 😄

sure! I don't have any resources on hand, but I can say a few things that helped me out in the early days. Life drawing is probably the most important aspect of art. If you have it in your city go as often as possible. The quicker poses are the most effective, so try to find places that focus more on 1 minute-5 minute poses. But yeah, life drawing helps all aspects of art, even if you're not drawing people. It helps the way you think about shape, line quality, lighting, anatomy, perspective. Also, just general drawing from life is super helpful, even if you go to a cafe and sketch or go to the zoo.
The book Strength Training Anatomy by frederic delavier is probably the best anatomy resource you can buy, Color and Light by James Gurney is amazing for painting knowledge, and Dream Worlds by Hans Bacher is also amazing for that.
Hope that all helps!
