Xochiquetzal Keiya is the only knight of Princess/Queen Acacia Latione from her mother's Queendom of Fal’ana’ta. Her shirt and cuirass is from Fal’ana’ta, whist her trousers are from Be'thusta. Be'thusta is the kingdom where she and Acaica lives with her Father, King of Be'thusta.

Keiya's given name is Xochiquetzal, but she prefers to keep it "hidden" from most people as its easily abused to create several insults. She goes my the sole name of Kieya, and those who know don't use for Given Name. A joke at a particular Pub is that you've got more chance of having sex with her than learning her first name. Fortunately, none of the regulars has managed to get close to either goal.

She has become very protective of Acacia, as her mother last order was, "Keep her Alive, even if you take the Biggest Sacrifice."

Her heritage is very confusing, She is Half Elf, 3/8ths Human, and 1/8th of a Vedran. Vedrans are best described as Humaniod Domesticated Cats, therefore her ears are pointy and fur grows on them. Her hair patten is natural as her Vedran side was a Tabby. Xochiquetzal is another hint to her heritage, as it's meaning as Susana T'lenta puts it "Valley where the Gods first "did it"." (It was said in the company of Children.)
