Ah, it's finally done. It took ages!I know the proportions aren't exactly right, and I'm really not sure about the shading on the clothing, but I'm fairly happy with it. It's nothing spectacular but it's okay.
This is Lydia (I've posted pics of her before but she's gone through a bit of a redesign). She's one of the main characters in my online young adult fantasy serial Dragon Wars . Take a look if you like.

This looks great! I love the outfit, It looks like its really on her body. You should have extended the shirt at the bottom so it would look more like it is on her. Also the belt should have extended further out. I really love the face, it looks really dramatic and beautiful. The shading is spot on.
You also did a great job on the hands and the pose, they have a few anatomical mistakes but they are not obvious enough to point out. You have a great idea of anatomy. I also like the hair and the definition in each of the larger strands you put. It all has a nice warm feeling and is very dramatic. Wow I can tell you are getting much better! Her clothes look like they are actually on her rather than drawn around her. Trust me that's hard to do for some people. I think you are getting better at proportions because it's getting harder for me to tell what you got wrong here. Overall good work. I like it!
