Ok, you have to save as a png (near to the button of save) and you'll have to choose the option down. Then you'll have it.

Save the picture and open it on paint.net, next, use the magic wand/ select tool to select the background, you'll know the background is selected when it turns blue, then, press "delete" on your keyboard, the background would then have grey and white checker patterns on it, once you've done that, save the picture as a ".png"
