Welcome-I am going to start some pencil work soon.
Inking other peoples pencils showed me I need allot more pencil work on my own art.Normally I draw a simple line drawing and detail each area as I go with a marker..I think more pencils will give me more options to change my mind as I go.

It's great, you will have more control with a pencil, than with inks, I suggest a 5 mm mechanical pencil for fine detail and a blender for shading,and of course and putty eraser. what helped me, was creating pure pencil art and experimenting with shading techniques, I know you can do it dude, I love pencils!!! I'm looking forward to see what you come up with!

I'm looking forward to doing some.I don't know why I started inking 1st but then again it was new to me.It would just seem that pencils should take priority when it comes to basics and then the inks.
