Description
My first new anything in a long while. Took me a few days on and off, as I was feeling up to it. Wearing the wrist brace all the time seems to have helped a bit with the carpal tunnel and the new med is doing nicely to filter out a lot of the white noise in my nervous system. Still not fixed yet though, but working on it.Didn't want to bugger up a paid piece in my long suffering to-do list, so this is up for grabs. Drop me a message if you're interested in this piece adorning a wall near you! Papa's been out of commission for a while and needs to start a Cintiq fund.
There's some rough pencils and ballpoint under there, finished with Copic multiliner & sketch markers. 9"x12"
Batman is copyright of DC Comics.

Off the bat, you have some awesome methods bouncing about. There’s streaks galore for the background and that keeps it from being dense. The feathering of the left wins me over and by many art gallery standards, that could have been the entire piece. The prime bust actually being the treat. Off the bat, the same playing is present in the technique. As the audience, we’re hit with an barrage of lines of all types. Fat. Thin. Blue. White. Black. There’s a sculptors’ touch to the overall composition. It’s a wonderful design of the urban warrior. There is no posh Bruce Wayne coming through. This is most certainly the Batman. You can almost hear him scowl: “I'm the Goddamn Batman.”
