Brisbane's Riverfire always draws a crowd. And with spectacular fireworks, is it any wonder...Update 6 January 2007: Relatively minor update; tidied up the image slightly, and adjusted colour levels. Was thinking of doing more but didn't want to mess with it too much.

Yes and no. If there's something flat to rest on (like a wall) then I'll use that, but otherwise definitely tripod.

you should find a way to trip the shutter without having to do it with your hand, since you can cause camrea shake that way.
